In mid-May 2026, Foster spoke at a Women\u2019s Health Lab panel<\/a> called \u201cThe Science of Staying Strong: Longevity, Movement & Resilience,\u201d where she discussed the importance of resilience, strength, and strategies for managing stress.<\/p>\n

During the discussion, Foster candidly admitted that she often feels \u201creally alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere at the event, Foster indirectly referenced the situation involving Jackman\u2019s ex-wife, emphasizing the importance of women supporting one another. \u201cWomen of power can actually support each other, and we don\u2019t have to be pitted against each other,\u201d she added. \u201cThere\u2019s room for more than just one of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes just before a May 27 report by Rob Shuter<\/a>, in which the Hollywood insider claimed Foster and Jackman are going through a rough patch. According to Shuter, Foster is feeling \u201cexhausted\u201d by the emotional demands of her romance with the Deadpool & Wolverine <\/em>star.<\/p>\n

\u201cHugh wants a mommy, not a girlfriend,\u201d one source told Naughty But Nice<\/em>. \u201cHe needs constant validation, nonstop reassurance, and someone shielding him from conflict while he keeps playing the golden boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sources alleged that, throughout their decades-long marriage, Deb shielded Jackman from anything negative, specifically \u201ccriticism, confrontation, and emotional fallout.\u201d Now, Jackman is reportedly hoping Foster will take on that role, but she had no interest in doing so.<\/p>\n

\u201cSutton is ambitious, independent, and emotionally intelligent,\u201d a source explained. \u201cShe didn\u2019t sign up to become Hugh\u2019s full-time emotional support system. The deeper this relationship gets, the more she feels responsible for managing his feelings, his image, and the chaos surrounding him.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second insider noted, \u201cHugh desperately needs everyone to love him. He avoids uncomfortable situations at all costs and expects Sutton to absorb the emotional fallout so he can remain the nice guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSutton thought she was getting a partner,\u201d another said. \u201cWhat she\u2019s discovering is a man who still needs parenting.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
