Ariana Grande<\/a> has shared \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me,\u201d the lead single of new album Petal<\/em><\/a>. The song was co-written and produced by Grande, Ilya, and Max Martin, and arrives alongside a comic-book-inspired lyric video. Listen below.<\/p>\n Grande\u2019s Eternal Sunshine<\/em><\/a> follow-up, due July 31 via Republic<\/a>, is executive produced and co-written by Grande and longtime collaborator Ilya<\/a>, the Swedish superproducer who has worked closely with Grande since her 2014 breakout with \u201cProblem.\u201d The album, Grande says, is akin to \u201csomething that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n Petal<\/em> follows Grande\u2019s return to the stage this summer\u2014her first major tour<\/a> in seven years kicks off in June\u2014after a series of screen appearances that includes her starring roles in the Wicked<\/em><\/a> franchise and Focker-in-Law<\/em><\/a>, the latest installment in the Meet the Parents<\/em> franchise.
