It\u2019s not uncommon for celebrities to be mistaken for completely different stars<\/a> \u2013 whether it\u2019s Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman getting mixed up, or fans confusing Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall.<\/p>\n However, when Friends <\/em>star Lisa Kudrow was mistaken for a very famous singer, she struggled to see the resemblance.<\/p>\n The 62-year-old revealed in a recent interview that a fan approached her during the height of her Friends<\/em> fame, thinking she was Dionne Warwick \u2013 the Grammy Award-winning \u201cWalk On By\u201d singer who is now 85.<\/p>\n When asked byThe Hollywood Reporter<\/em> to recall the \u201cmost bizarre\u201d fan interaction she\u2019s ever had, she told the Comedy Actresses roundtable: \u201cI have my favourite.<\/p>\n Lisa Kudrow revealed that a fan mistook her for Dionne Warwick (Reuters)<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n \u201cIt was during Friends<\/em>, and I was going to Jerry\u2019s Deli or something and the hostess had an accent. She was from somewhere in Eastern Europe and just went [whispering<\/em>], \u2018I know who you are.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI went, \u2018Aw, yeah.\u2019 And she said, \u2018You are Dionne Warwick.\u2019 I just went, \u2018No, I\u2019m not. I am not.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Surrounded by her surprised fellow panellists \u2013 Ashley Padilla, Quinta Brunson, Rachel Sennott, Hannah Einbinder and Keke Palmer \u2013 Kudrow continued: \u201cI kind of felt this, \u2018She doesn\u2019t know who I am?\u2019 And then it was, wait \u2026 Dionne Warwick?<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018She\u2019s a legendary singer!\u2019 I just thought it was the funniest thing ever.\u201d<\/p>\n Warwick is best known for her 1966 track \u201cAlfie\u201d and her 1971 single \u201cI\u2019ll Never Fall in Love Again\u201d, which won her a Grammy for Best Contemporary Vocal Performance that year.<\/p>\n Kudrow played Phoebe Buffay on hit sitcom Friends<\/em> throughout its entire 10-year run, originating the role in 1994. She went on to star in cult comedy Romy and Michele\u2019s High School Reunion<\/em> and mockumentary The Comeback, <\/em>which returned for a third series earlier this year.<\/p>\n She recently claimed that \u201cnobody cared\u201d about her while she was on Friends<\/em>, telling <\/a>The Independent<\/em><\/a> in April<\/a>: \u201cThere were certain parts of [my talent agency] that just referred to me as \u2018the sixth Friend.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe in \u2018Friends\u2019 (NBC)<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n When asked about that comment by THR<\/em>, Kudrow spoke further on it, saying: \u201cThat was what the talk among the business folk was.
