Tom Morello<\/a> has unveiled a new single titled \u201cAdjourn It\u201d featuring his son Roman Morello and System of a Down\u2019s Serj Tankian<\/a>.<\/p>\n The single is a taste from his upcoming solo album via Mom + Pop Records, and is inspired by recent protests against ICE in both Minneapolis and New York City.<\/p>\n Get Tom Morello Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cAdjourn It\u201d mixes a classic Rage Against the Machine style rap metal chorus featuring Tankian, verses that are slinky and dark like classic Bob Dylan, and even a classic thrash metal bridge before closing with a monumental guitar solo from Roman. It also sports a music video that features footage from the independent film Salt of the Earth<\/em> from 1954 about Mexican-American zinc miner strikes, in keeping with the direct and highly political tone.<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n Tom Morello stated, \u201cAt this historical juncture every act of art is an act of resistance and \u2018Adjourn It,\u2019 a collaboration with long time friend Serj Tankian and my 15 year old guitar wiz son Roman Morello, is a clarion call for justice in unjust times.
