June, however, has some of the best astrology of the whole year, so whenever and wherever gentle indulgence, tenderness and joy offer themselves to you, I hope you enjoy them to the fullest extent. Both July and August host complicated skies, so take early June as the peak summer experience.<\/p>\n The sweetness of June is due in large part to the co-presence of both Jupiter and Venus in the sign of Cancer. These two planets make the best of life and value cooperation, pleasure and abundance. The climax of their union will occur on the 9th<\/strong>, a moment of closeness, comfort and fertility in whichever sector Cancer falls in your chart.<\/p>\n The coming together of Venus and Jupiter also marks the final weeks of Jupiter\u2019s time in Cancer, where it\u2019s been for a full year. Jupiter is said to be \u2018exalted\u2019 in Cancer, meaning that the things Jupiter represents\u2014abundance, social connectedness, optimism and expansion\u2014are well suited to Cancer\u2019s fertile waters. Jupiter thrives in a Cancerian environment, nurturing like a generous caregiver.<\/p>\n But Jupiter only spends a year in each sign, and its time in Cancer is wrapping up. By the 29th<\/strong>, Jupiter will leave Cancer for Leo. In Leo, Jupiter supports those in power, bringing a boisterous and brave aura to leaders of all kinds. Normally, mercury spends two to three weeks in a sign, but due to its retrograde at the end of the month, it will remain in Cancer until the second week of August. June is largely the prelude to the retrograde, collecting topics and themes of homecoming and belonging that Mercury will return to after it stations retrograde on the\u00a029th. The good news is that this retrograde is significantly easier than the one we had this spring. Far from the tricks and trials of the previous one, Mercury\u2019s upcoming retrograde feels much more like a summer of dreamy nostalgia, so turn up the Lana Del Rey<\/a>.<\/p>\n Two uncomplicated lunations occur in June. First, a fun and flirty Gemini new moon on the 14th<\/strong>, then a more somber full moon in Capricorn on the\u00a029th<\/strong><\/span> turns the focus back to business.
