If it wasn\u2019t clear already, Brad Pitt<\/a>\u2019s kids want nothing to do with him. Reports have circulated for years that his six kids with Angelina Jolie<\/a> don\u2019t speak to him, and one by one we\u2019ve seen them drop \u2018Pitt\u2019 from their last name, with daughter Shiloh even going so far as to file for a name change on the day of her 18th<\/sup> birthday.<\/p>\n Considering the allegations that Pitt abused not just their mother, Angelina Jolie, but the kids themselves, it\u2019s hard to blame them for the decision. And though we\u2019ve seen most of the kids take the step to drop the name Pitt in one way or another, now Jolie and Pitt\u2019s son Maddox is reportedly doing so legally.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Related:<\/strong>\u00a0Who has Brad Pitt dated?<\/a><\/p>\n TMZ<\/a>\u00a0reported on Thursday, May 28, that Maddox filed to officially drop Pitt from his last name and make his full name Maddox Chivan Jolie.\u00a0The request has not yet been granted.<\/p>\n Maddox might be making it public now, but\u00a0Pitt\u2019s eldest child<\/a> removed Pitt from his last name in the credits of his mom\u2019s last movie,\u00a0Couture<\/em>, on which he served as an assistant director. So, this decision to remove the last name legally probably comes as no surprise to anyone.<\/p>\n Brad Pitt<\/a> shares 6\u00a0children<\/a>\u00a0with Jolie: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. And we\u2019ve seen most of the kids take firm steps towards distancing themselves from Pitt. In fact, at this point, 4 of the 6 kids have publicly taken steps to renounce the Pitt name, and the two that haven\u2019t are the least public ones.<\/p>\n \u00a0Daughter Zahara recently publicly dropped \u201cPitt\u201d from her name during her Spelman College graduation ceremony. Pitt wasn\u2019t present at the graduation and reportedly didn\u2019t reach out to Zahara ahead of the event, nor did he contact anyone about obtaining a ticket to attend. Jolie and Zahara\u2019s siblings were present.<\/p>\n Two years ago, in a Playbill for the Broadway musical The Outsiders, which Vivienne helped Angelina produce, Vivienne was credited as Vivienne Jolie, instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. Also, two years ago, Shiloh, who was born as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie after she turned 18.<\/p>\n All of this comes after recent reports from Hollywood insider Rob Shuter that Ines de Ramon, Pitt\u2019s girlfriend since 2022, hasn\u2019t met the kids. \u201cInes has never met the children,\u201d\u00a0one insider told\u00a0Naughty But Nice<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cThat alone tells you how strained and complicated things still are behind the scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt breaks his heart,\u201d\u00a0another insider said.\u00a0\u201cHe loves his children deeply, but there\u2019s still enormous pain and unresolved anger throughout the family.\u201d<\/p>\n Pitt has not commented on Maddox\u2019s recent decision, though when Shiloh filed for her own name change, Pitt reportedly heard about it. \u201cHe\u2019s aware that Shiloh dropped his last name,\u201d a source told\u00a0People<\/a>\u00a0two years ago about Brad\u2019s feelings toward Shiloh\u2019s legal name change. \u201cThe reminders that he\u2019s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad.
