Susan Boyle<\/a> is back with a “new era” and a new look.<\/p>\n

The beloved Scottish singer<\/a> took to Instagram<\/a> to seemingly tease new music in a series of photos that featured a dramatic new getup: blond tresses, a fur coat, large sunglasses and a sporty tracksuit. In a few photos, the “Britain’s Got Talent” alum, 65, was spotted behind the mic in a recording studio, suggesting a musical release is on the way.<\/p>\n

“A new era starts tomorrow,” she captioned the post Wednesday, May 27, seemingly indicating the post is an ad.<\/p>\n

In a second apparent ad, posted Thursday, the singer shared a photo<\/a> in the tracksuit taken from behind, with the back of her jacket reading, “Just One.”<\/p>\n

“I’ve heard it’s Susan Boyling out there\u2026 and it’s about to get hotter. Just One is out soon xx,” she captioned the post.<\/p>\n

Aside from the two posts, the singer’s Instagram<\/a> page has otherwise been wiped of her previous content.<\/p>\n

Boyle gained notoriety in 2009 after stunning viewers of the\u00a0Simon Cowell<\/a>-helmed reality-competition series “Britain’s Got Talent,” when she performed “I Dreamed a Dream<\/a>” from the musical “Les Mis\u00e9rables.”<\/a> An early example of internet-viral fame, the then-47-year-old unemployed charity worker from rural Scotland delighted viewers and judges with her powerful, angelic voice and charm. She told the show’s cameras that she lived alone with her cat, Pebbles, and had “never been kissed.”<\/p>\n

Over 120 million people watched the original performance on YouTube, making her an overnight sensation. Her\u00a0debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” released in November 2009, set the U.K.’s record for biggest first week sales by a debut album and eventually became 2009’s second best-selling album in the U.S.<\/p>\n

The singer has remained active, though not with the same level of international command over the charts.<\/p>\n
