after DUI arrest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Britney Spears opened up about \u201cemotional issues\u201d following her DUI arrest and rehab stint.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cOops I Did It Again\u201d songstress took to Instagram in <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ItzBritneyWhore\/status\/2060200406274228638\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a since-deleted post <\/a>to reflect on her \u201cinteresting\u201d year, noting that she experiences a surge of emotions in the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a lot of emotional issues that come up in my kitchen,\u201d she wrote in the lengthy text upload. \u201cI have no idea why\u2026I guess that\u2019s usually where we as a family all come together to celebrate, pray and cook.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She also noted she did \u201ccrafts there.\u201d The Grammy winning hitmaker recalled once painting through the night and creating a stained glass lamp, which gave her \u201cthe most peaceful feeling\u201d and she kept in her kitchen for three months.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Britney Spears wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post that her year has been \u201cquite interesting\u201d (as seen above).  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@britneyspears<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption> She also wrote that she has \u201cemotional issues\u201d come up in the kitchen.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@britneyspears<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The \u201c\u2026Baby One More Time\u201d hitmaker wrote that she was \u201cin love\u201d with her creation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOk I get its a f\u2013king broken lamp with\u00a0shattered glass pieces put together somehow to create light\u2026 but I found myself wanting to go to the kitchen after years of not wanting to\u2026l was excited to go to the kitchen in the middle of the night to eat my cereal or snacks \u2026 something very demure to me and one of a kind,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>She was seemingly devastated when a housekeeper \u201caccidentally\u201d threw her beloved creation out, but wrote that she was \u201cused to people taking [her] things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the post, Spears, 44, wrote that she\u2019s \u201cnever done so many arts and crafts.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>She reflected on creating a stained glass lamp she was \u201cin love\u201d with, but was thrown out.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@britneyspears<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The pop star\u2019s social media thoughts come over two months after her <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/05\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-arrested-for-dui\/\">March 4 DUI arrest<\/a> after being seen allegedly driving \u201cerratically\u201d in Ventura County, California. <\/p>\n<p>The singer was later seen in footage at the scene\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/21\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-fails-sobriety-test-in-dui-arrest-video\/\">failing a field sobriety test<\/a>\u00a0and claiming she had only had one mimosa earlier that day. <\/p>\n<p>A police report also showed that the singer claimed to have\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/21\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-listed-drugs-taken-before-dui-arrest-as-she-boasted-she-could-drink-4-bottles-of-wine\/\">taken several prescriptions<\/a>, including Adderall, Lamictal and Prozac.<\/p>\n<p>Spears\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/12\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-checks-into-rehab-for-substance-abuse-weeks-after-dui-arrest\/\">checked herself into rehab<\/a>\u00a0the following month, and after <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/30\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-spotted-for-first-time-since-finishing-rehab-following-dui-charge\/\">exiting the facility<\/a> later in April, was said to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/30\/celebrity-news\/inside-britney-spears-fresh-start-after-rehab-release\/\">be \u201cdoing really well.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Spears was arrested for DUI in March.
