\n\tThe remaining members of ENHYPEN<\/a> are letting their artistry and fans guide them as they navigate working as a band without former member HEESEUNG, who recently left the group to pursue a solo career.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a candid interview with Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Tetris Kelly, JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO and NI-KI open up for the first time about their bandmate going his separate way earlier this year. To start, JUNGWON emphasizes that he and the guys are spending a lot of time with each other as they adjust to this new chapter.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThese days, we\u2019ve been busy preparing for our tour,\u201d he says of ENHYPEN\u2019s Blood Saga trek, which kicked off May 1. \u201cWe practice a lot and eat together often, and we\u2019ve just been focused on how to put on the best stage possible.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe just all know that there\u2019s a lot of people out there that are expecting a lot from us, especially in our performance,\u201d JAKE chimes in. \u201cOur ENGENEs, that\u2019s what we try to focus on \u2014 putting on the best performance for our fans.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBELIFT LAB announced March 10 that ENHYPEN\u2019s lineup would no longer include<\/a> HEESEUNG as he began his transition into a career as a soloist. \u201cThrough in-depth discussions with each of the members about the future they envision and the direction of the team, it became clear that HEESEUNG has his own distinct musical vision,\u201d the company wrote at the time, later telling Billboard<\/em><\/a> in a statement, \u201cWe concluded that allowing HEESEUNG to focus fully on his career as a solo artist, rather than pursuing solo activities within the team, would be the most fulfilling approach for both ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHEESEUNG also shared his own explanation<\/a> at the time in a letter to fans \u2014 who expressed their mixed reactions<\/a> over the news of his departure for weeks after \u2014 on Weverse. \u201cOver time, I shared the work I had been creating with the company, and we spent a long time discussing with many people how it might best be presented,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAfter thinking deeply about it for a long time, I ultimately made a big decision in line with the direction that was discussed, in hopes of returning to you in a better way \u2026 I didn\u2019t want my own ambitions to come before the team.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAbout a month later, HEESEUNG launched his rebrand <\/a>as EVAN, the new moniker he\u2019s using for his solo trajectory. It\u2019s unknown when he\u2019ll begin releasing his own music, but BELIFT previously confirmed that he\u2019s working on an album.<\/p>\n \n\tAs for the future of ENHYPEN? \u201cHonestly, we\u2019re all working hard with only ENGENEs in mind,\u201d SUNGHOON tells Billboard<\/em> about what he wants fans to know as everyone moves forward. \u201cLet\u2019s make even more memories together.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe remaining members are currently on tour in support of January mini-album The Sin: Vanish<\/em>, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 20<\/a>0<\/a>. They\u2019re also hard at work on new music, which they discuss with with Billboard<\/em> as well.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAs of right now, we can\u2019t say too much,\u201d JAKE teases. \u201cBut our next [project] is crazy, it\u2019s another level. I said this at the start of the year, but 2026 is going to be a very big year for us.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe goes on to acknowledge that things will be different regarding the new music and HEESEUNG\u2019s absence. \u201cThere\u2019s been changes, but there\u2019s also been very good changes as well,\u201d JAKE adds. \u201cIn terms of our music and next album \u2026 it\u2019s going to be very good.\u201d<\/p>\n
