EMPLOYED TO SERVE<\/strong> have released a new music video!<\/p>\n The new music video, for the track Dead Reckoning<\/strong>, is taken from the Woking heavy metal band\u2019s first new material since their latest album Fallen Star<\/strong><\/a> (released in April 2025 via Spinefarm<\/strong> Records<\/strong>).<\/p>\n The single also marks a new chapter for the band, arriving via Church Road Records<\/strong> \u2014 the label founded by Jones<\/strong> and Urwin<\/strong> \u2014 giving the band full creative control over their output. The duo\u2019s label has become a cornerstone of the UK metal and alternative scene over the past decade, and now serves as the home for their own material too. The track was recorded with longtime collaborator Lewis<\/strong> Johns<\/strong>, who handled production and mastering.<\/p>\n Speaking about the new single, guitarist\/vocalist Sammy Urwin<\/strong> shares, \u201cwhen the track was being written, it was one of those situations where it exploded into existence, rather than having been carefully crafted\u201d. <\/em>On providing perspective for the lyrics, lead vocalist Justine Jones<\/strong> adds,\u00a0\u201cDead Reckoning<\/strong> definitely taps more into our darker side and serves as a conduit to blow off steam.
