Andy Dick<\/strong><\/a> appeared to be in good spirits while signing autographs in a rare public appearance just five months after his alleged near-fatal drug overdose.<\/p>\n

Dick, 60, was photographed at a booth at the Hollywood Show convention on Friday, May 29, where he was seen chatting with attendees and singing various pieces of memorabilia.<\/p>\n

During the rare outing, the troubled star wore a pinstriped jacket over a black T-shirt for the outing as he sat at a table with various promotional products scattered in front of him, according to photos obtained by Page Six<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just five months before the outing, Dick was found unconscious after experiencing an apparent overdose in Los Angeles. The incident took place after years of Dick\u2019s known struggles with substance abuse.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tReba alum Christopher Rich candidly discussed his road to recovery after being diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury following a massive stroke. Rich rose to stardom playing Alexander \u201cSandy\u201d Cory on Another World in the early \u201980s. From there, Rich continued to make memorable appearances on shows such as The Nanny, ER and Murphy Brown [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dick was filming with friends Adam Carbone<\/strong> and Alexander Bailey<\/strong> in Hollywood on December 9, 2025, when he reportedly left the group and smoked crack cocaine with a random man on the street.<\/p>\n

He fell unconscious and was revived after he received four shots of Narcan<\/a>, a medication that can reverse the effects of opioid overdoses. The health scare was so serious that Dick told Page Six<\/em> in January that he \u201clegit died.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not funny, and I don\u2019t remember this, but they say I came back to life, sat up, and the first thing outta my mouth was, \u2018Where\u2019s the vodka?\u2019\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

In January, Dick told TMZ that he checked out of rehab<\/a> and moved into a sober-living facility. He added that he was \u201ctaking things one day at a time and staying focused on sobriety\u201d as he began a new chapter in his life.<\/p>\n

Dick continued to open up about the overdose while appearing on the March 4 episode of the \u201cHowie Mandel Does Stuff\u201d podcast, in which he admitted he didn\u2019t remember anything<\/a> from the incident except \u201cwaking up in the ambulance.\u201d<\/p>\n

He confirmed he was dead and that his heart stopped, and he also shared that he turned \u201cpurple\u201d and was \u201cnot breathing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also during the appearance, Dick recalled that he had a scan after the incident and it revealed that he had \u201cabout five to seven holes\u201d in his brain.<\/p>\n

However, his rep clarified to Entertainment Weekly<\/em><\/a> that the holes are not drug-related but were instead caused during a 2019 incident when a man punched Dick in the head.<\/p>\n
