In some very sad news this morning, music legend John Farnham has confirmed he will never sing in public again, following his battle with oral cancer.<\/p>\n

A huge lineup of local and international stars will unite for a megaconcert in Melbourne, to celebrate the You’re<\/em> The Voice<\/em> singer’s career and raise funds for cancer charities.<\/p>\n

The likes of Richard Marx, Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Keith Urban, Jimy Barnes, Human Nature and more will perform some of Farnham’s greatest hits with his very own band.<\/p>\n

The concert is set for September 20 and tickets go on sale on Tuesday, through Ticketek.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Celine Dion, her story is headed to the small screen with a series called Growing Up Dion<\/em> in the works.<\/p>\n

It will look at her childhood and early career highlights, as one of 14 siblings, with the family all on board with the project.<\/p>\n

The series is based on the book, Dion: A Family Saga<\/em>, which was written by Dion’s nephew, Jimmy Dion.<\/p>\n

And this morning we are proud to give you a first look at Boss Cat<\/em>, a film by Bus Stop Films, which supports people with disabilities and helps build skills and connection.<\/p>\n

The series is based on the book, Dion: A Family Saga, which was written by Dion’s nephew, Jimmy Dion.\u00a0Evan Agostini\/Invision\/AP<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Boss Cat<\/em> is written and directed by pioneer filmmaker Genevieve Clay-Smith and stars Olivia Hargroder as Sonja, a proud member of the downs syndrome community.<\/p>\n

Sonja embarks on a quest of independence, empowerment and identity, through the performance of crump dancing.<\/p>\n

Boss Cat<\/em> premieres Sunday, June 7 at the Sydney Film Festival and will be released in cinemas December 3 – International Day of People With Disabilities.<\/p>\n
