Tony Award winner Robert Sean Leonard<\/a> and\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>star Mikey Day have joined the roster for\u00a0Celebrity Autobiography<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>on Broadway.\u00a0The show features an ever-changing cast of celebrity notables reading excerpts from real autobiographies.<\/p>\n The production officially opened at the Shubert Theatre May 18, with the opening night cast featuring Scott Adsit<\/a> (30 Rock<\/em>), Matthew Broderick<\/a> (Plaza Suite<\/a><\/em>), Mario Cantone<\/a> (Sex and the City<\/em>), Jeff Hiller<\/a> (Somebody Somewhere<\/em>), Jackie Hoffman<\/a> (Only Murders in the Building<\/em>), Christopher Jackson<\/a> (Hamilton<\/a><\/em>), Gayle King<\/a> (CBS Mornings<\/em>), Ben Mankiewicz<\/a> (Turner Classic Movies), Andrea Martin<\/a> (McNeal<\/a><\/em>), Bobby Moynihan<\/a> (SNL<\/em>), Eugene Pack<\/a>, Dayle Reyfel<\/a>, Kenan Thompson<\/a> (SNL<\/em>), Nia Vardalos<\/a> (My Big Fat Greek Wedding<\/em>), and Rita Wilson<\/a> (Sleepless in Seattle<\/em>). Wilson is also producing the run.<\/p>\n Each night’s cast and material will be different, with press notes sharing that audiences can expect unannounced special guests throughout the run. For the next few weeks, the rotating cast will include current stars Adsit, Mankiewicz,\u00a0Bruce Vilanch<\/a>, and Hiller through May 31; with Vardalos performing through June 6, Hoffman performing through May 31 and returning June 29-August 2, as well a Cantone performing through June 28, then returning July 9-August 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n Future stars will include: Jason Alexander<\/a>, Anthony Anderson<\/a>, Bob Costas<\/a>,\u00a0Andrea Martin, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer<\/a>, Pamela Adlon, Brooke Adams<\/a>, Gina\u00a0Gershon, Ralph Macchio<\/a>, Katie Couric<\/a>, Eric McCormack<\/a>, Tony Shalhoub<\/a>, Matthew Broderick, Phil Rosenthal<\/a>, Tate Donovan<\/a>, Lewis Black<\/a>, Danny Burstein, Ken Jeong<\/a>, Susan Lucci<\/a>, Laraine Newman<\/a>, Oscar Nu\u00f1ez<\/a>, Tiler Peck<\/a>, Jennifer Tilley,\u00a0Cheri Oteri<\/a>, and\u00a0Alan Zweibel<\/a>.<\/p>\n Co-directors and show creators Pack and Reyfel will join each night’s celebrity guests on stage. Pack and Reyfel are at the helm of the Broadway bow.<\/p>\n The staging features scenic and costume design by Derek McLane<\/a>, lighting design by Ed McCarthy<\/a>, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan<\/a>. The Broadway run is produced by Wilson, Eric Falkenstein<\/a>, Douglas Denoff<\/a>, Fraboni, Peter Martin, and EP Productions<\/a>.
