\n\tCharli xcx<\/a> has announced the release date of her new album Music, Fashion, Film<\/em> \u2014 and recruited some bona fide legends for its album artwork.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe studio LP will be released on July 24 via Atlantic Records and feature both her recent singles \u201cSS26\u201d and \u201cRock Music.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe album\u2019s artwork features a black and white photo of three pioneers in the LP title\u2019s disciplines: The Velvet Underground\u2019s John Cale<\/a>; fashion designer Marc Jacobs; and movie director Martin Scorsese. See the artwork, shot by frequent collaborator Aidan Zamiri, below.<\/p>\n

\n\tCharli recently collaborated with Cale on the song \u201cHouse\u201d from her Wuthering Heights<\/a><\/em> soundtrack LP, released in February 2026. She has also modeled for Marc Jacobs in recent years, appearing in a campaign for the designer\u2019s line.<\/p>\n

\n\tConfirming the news on Instagram, Charli wrote that the album would feature \u201c11 songs\u201d and run for \u201c30 minutes and 5 seconds.\u201d A wider tracklist has not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe album\u2019s title comes from \u201cSS26\u201d where the British artist sings: \u201cWe\u2019re walkin\u2019 on a runway that goes straight to hell \/ Nothing\u2019s gonna save us, not music, fashion or\u205ffilm.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMusic, Fashion, Film<\/em> marks Charli\u2019s first solo studio album since 2024\u2019s brat<\/em>, which elevated the popstar to a mainstream icon. The album peaked at No. 1 on the U.K.\u2019s Official Albums Chart and at No. 3 on the Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking to British Vogue<\/a><\/em>, Charli said that the album\u2019s new direction \u2014 as heard on \u201cRock Music\u201d \u2014 could divide listeners. \u201cFor me, it\u2019s fun to flip the form,\u201d she said. \u201cWe know there\u2019s gonna be people who are bothered by it, but that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the upcoming LP\u2019s release, Charli will headline Chicago\u2019s Lollapalooza Festival (July 31) as well as the U.K.\u2019s Reading & Leeds Festival (Aug. 28-29).<\/p>\n
