Both shows will open with a reception at the Art Association of Oswego from 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, June 6.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_358886\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-358886\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-358886\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">photograph by Sara O\u2019Dell entitled Inspired 4<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sarah Irland says of her work, \u201cI love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature across the seasons. I seek that great feeling you get when those colors come together in just the right way. I never get tired of learning and discovering new things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exhibiting photographers are Bradley Knoer, a photographer from Buffalo, New York, who is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a minor in photography. His work focuses on using light and color to create atmosphere and mood. Many of his naturefocused photos were taken in Oswego.<\/p>\n<p>Sara O\u2019Dell who is a photographer from Syracuse, New York whose work focuses on lighting and the relationship between shadow and texture. She works in both digital and film photography, primarily creating black-and-white images that emphasize contrast, atmosphere and detail inspired by nature and travel.<\/p>\n<p>Nat Teska-Prince is a 21-year-old African-American portrait photographer from Syracuse, New York. He will be graduating from SUNY Oswego in the winter with his Bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism. Through his work, he aims to evoke real emotion and tell stories.<\/p>\n<p>The Art Association of Oswego (AAO) galleries are housed in the Oswego Civic Arts Center, which is located at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive at the northernmost end of East Fourth Street in the City of Oswego, directly across from historic Fort Ontario. Regular gallery hours are on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm and on Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The galleries are also accessible on Wednesdays during open studio hours from 10 am until 1 pm, and during any art classes, theater performances, music events and by appointment. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Both shows run until Sunday, June 28.
