A total of 23 officers have been served misconduct notices with 21 of them on restricted \u2060duties after an urgent \u200binvestigation launched last month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cThe alleged \u200bbehaviour falls below the high standards expected of officers, particularly in frontline protective roles,\u201d a spokesperson for the force said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The allegations about officers leaving their posts unattended at Windsor Castle, \u200cone \u2060of King Charles\u2019 residences, as well as sleeping while on duty was first report in the Sun newspaper.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Officers from the police specialist unit are given the duty of protecting members of the Royal Family and \u200bguarding royal residences.
