That\u2019s what happened to Eman El Saied, aka Denver indie artist <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sunstoney\/\">sunstoney<\/a>, when she shared her latest song, \u201cWAITING TO BLOOM,\u201d independently on May 25.<\/p>\n<p>An infectiously upbeat dance tune, \u201cWAITING TO BLOOM\u201d is off sunstoney\u2019s upcoming album, which will be out later this summer. Seeing SZA\u2019s nod of approval regarding the video, directed by Ana Paula Pinto, felt surreal, El Saied tells <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westword.com\/music\/sza-approves-denver-musician-sunstoney-40891597\/\"><em>Westword<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI run to my phone, and I\u2019m checking my mentions, and there it is,\u201d she says. \u201cWithin one day of her sharing it to her, you know, 23 million followers on Instagram, I gained 600 new followers. The Denver surf-psychers were recently named <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westword.com\/music\/the-mananas-flora-rino-artist-in-residence-40890837\/\">Flora RiNo\u2019s<\/a> first-ever artist-in-residence, which pairs perfectly with the four-piece\u2019s plans of working on a new, yet-to-be-named album, set for release in September. Latest single \u201cLeopard Lady,\u201d shared independently on May 25, is a taste of what The Ma\u00f1anas are up to. With loungey retro-rock vibe and swing, singer-guitarist Brandon L.
