A Connecticut-born Disney Channel star will be part of a new Christmas movie<\/a> that brings Hallmark <\/a>romance to \u201cthe Most Magical Place on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Romano is known as the voice of the titular character on Disney\u2019s \u201cKim Possible,\u201d as well as for her appearances in the Disney TV show \u201cEven Stevens\u201d and the Disney Channel movie \u201cCadet Kelly.\u201d The Disney star has also spoken out against the pressures that child actors face, advocating for stronger protections for child actors, according to Fox News<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The movie centers on Lindsey, played by actress Lacey\u00a0Chabert, as she and her family take a Christmas vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, according to Hallmark\u2019s website<\/a>. Lindsey\u2019s room ends up next to the one for Philip, played by Travis Van Winkle, a man with whom she went on a \u201cdisastrous first date\u201d recently who is also there for a family trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The movie is set to debut later this year during the Hallmark Channel\u2019s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event. The film also features actors Richard Kind, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander and Patrick Renna.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAs Lindsey and Philip\u2019s paths cross throughout their stay, the frost starts to thaw as they learn they\u2019re not so different from each other after all. However, they have collaborated on merchandise previously.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThe history between Hallmark and Disney dates back decades, when a shared Kansas City connection and friendship between Hallmark\u2019s founder, J.C. Hall, and Walt Disney himself led to our first-ever licensed products, including the very first greeting card featuring Mickey Mouse,\u201d Chief Brand Officer of Hallmark Darren Abbott says on Hallmark\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to expand our partnership beyond the products we create together and onto the screen with this heartwarming and joyful Christmas movie that embodies the very best of both brands,\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Few details have been released about Romano’s role, but\u00a0EntertainmentNow<\/a> reported that her character will be named Nicole. In a January Instagram post, she said she was \u201chaving so much fun\u201d between filming the new movie and going to the Disney parks with her children. She also said she hadn\u2019t been in a movie since 2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Romano said that before filming in Florida, she found out the results of a screening she had taken indicating that she might have cancer. However, in a March Instagram post<\/a>, she said that she has an active cancer gene, but a PET scan she took recently was clear. She added she had more upcoming tests and doctors will continue to monitor her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
