Charli xcx<\/span><\/strong><\/a> is back. The British pop star announced her new album, \u2018<\/span>Music, Fashion, Film<\/span><\/strong>,\u2019<\/strong> which drops in July.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album, due July 24<\/strong>, will feature 11 songs and run for 30 minutes and 5 seconds. It includes recent singles \u201cSS26\u201d and \u201cRock Music.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The artwork features a black-and-white photo of three pioneers: <\/span>John Cale<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0of The Velvet Underground, fashion designer\u00a0<\/span>Marc Jacobs<\/span><\/strong>, and legendary director\u00a0<\/span>Martin Scorsese<\/span><\/strong>. Frequent collaborator\u00a0<\/span>Aidan Zamiri<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0shot the image.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charli recently collaborated with Cale on the song \u2018House\u2019 from her \u2018<\/span>Wuthering Heights\u2019<\/span>\u00a0soundtrack LP, released in February 2026. She has also modeled for Marc Jacobs in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album\u2019s title comes from \u2018SS26,\u2019 where Charli sings: \u201cNothing\u2019s gonna save us, not music, fashion or film.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019<\/span>\u00a0marks Charli\u2019s first solo studio album since 2024\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>brat<\/span><\/em>, which elevated her to a mainstream icon. That album peaked at No. 1 on the U.K.\u2019s Official Albums Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0<\/span>British Vogue<\/span><\/strong>, Charli said the new direction could divide listeners. \u201cFor me, it\u2019s fun to flip the form,\u201d<\/strong> she said. \u201cWe know there\u2019s gonna be people who are bothered by it, but that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

She will headline Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 31 and the UK\u2019s Reading & Leeds Festival on August 28\u201329.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
