She pointed out how \u201csomeone had the brilliant idea\u201d to market an official t-shirt that read, \u201cOne Nation, One Race.\u201d The shirt was later taken down from the website \u201cafter not quite being able to explain that one.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Maddow On Trump&amp;apos;s 250 Celebrations\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NPC6Sqykgk4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>She then turned her attention to the disastrous Freedom 250 concert, saying, \u201cTrump now has called for the cancellation of a concert that he had tried to plan in Washington for the 250th after, again, a melange of celebrities and former celebrities they thought they had persuaded to come perform\u2026 started to drop out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump was humiliated by that for obvious reasons, so now he\u2019s called for the whole event to be canceled and he\u2019s announced that he himself should be the headliner,\u201d Maddow added. \u201cSo, okay, that\u2019ll be great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The president took to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116664367963376218\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Truth Social<\/a> on Saturday (May 30) after the likes of Young MC, Commodores,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/morris-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Morris Day<\/a>\u00a0of Morris Day and The Time, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/martina-mcbride\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martina McBride<\/a>, and\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/bret-michaels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bret Michaels<\/a>\u00a0all backed out of the event.
