After watching his family members sing him “Happy Birthday,” Boone blew out the candles and said, “Should I blow it out?” before making a wish.<\/p>\n

“Today, I\u2019m sending a very special birthday wish to Shirley Jones. Many of you remember that Shirley and I made the film April Love together, and from that time on, we became very dear friends,” he wrote in the caption. “Over the years we\u2019ve shared a lot of wonderful memories, including the day we took a photo together with many others who have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And there she is in the picture, leaning her head right on my shoulder. Shirley, I\u2019m so grateful for our friendship all these years. Happy birthday to you, and many more!”<\/p>\n
