At 83, he\u2019s tickled by it. \u201cI think it\u2019s because I\u2019m in their living room now, and I\u2019m much more familiar. Over a few Bloody Marys, the men swap stories and advice about navigating fame, fandom and their own insecurities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>What\u2019s the wildest thing a fan has come up to you and said?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>HARRISON FORD<\/strong> \u201cMy mother wants to sleep with you\u201d \u2014 loudly announced in an airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>GLEN POWELL<\/strong> I didn\u2019t mean it, by the way. It was the first time I was meeting you \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> I know. And your mom didn\u2019t mean it, either. (Laughter.) <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>RIZ AHMED<\/strong> Once, somebody asked me to sign something, and I signed it and then they chased me down the street and started yelling at me: \u201cThat\u2019s not your signature!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ZACH BRAFF<\/strong> I was once parallel parking in Manhattan and doing a really poor job, and a guy just walked by and went, \u201cYou\u2019re killing it, Braff.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>OWEN<\/strong> <strong>WILSON<\/strong> You feel that somehow your street cred is on the line with parallel parking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> I know. And it\u2019s bad enough when you\u2019re doing it anonymously and fucking it up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Glen, you must get some wild ones? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> I did have somebody ask me to sign a photo that was like a family photo that there\u2019s no way they would have access to. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Of your family?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>YAHYA ABDUL-MATEEN II <\/strong>And they asked you to sign it? <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> Yeah. So, I\u2019m sitting there like, \u201cWhere did you get that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED <\/strong>That\u2019s scary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Did they already have the rest of your family sign it and you were the closer? <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> I was the closer. (Laughter.) There\u2019s [also] a woman in London who has been printing out pictures of my face for the last 80 days and has eaten my face every day. Literally will eat my face until I give her a role in a movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Whoa, you\u2019ve had some really chilling encounters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL <\/strong>I didn\u2019t know this was a thing until it was described to me while I was on the red carpet. He\u2019s literally keeping the tags on his Prada sweaters to return them after auditions. What do you miss most and least about that phase of your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> I wouldn\u2019t miss doing auditions. That\u2019s always a very uncomfortable thing. I had a friend that went in for an audition, and he got really bad cottonmouth, where it was almost like his voice was whistling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> Aw, man.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> And you know when you finish, everybody says, \u201cWell, thank you. That was terrific\u201d?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> But everybody knows \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Everybody knows! And he was so embarrassed, and he leaves and he went out the wrong door.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> Oh no.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> He was out on the balcony.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> Oh no.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> And rather than go back inside \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> He jumped off?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> He climbed down the fire escape. So, you think about the people in the room waiting, going, \u201cOh, God. Now this guy who can\u2019t talk is out on the balcony. Well, we got to wait for him to come back. And I think about some of the films I did in the beginning, and I was 100 percent certain no one would watch, which was so liberating.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tYou could just take swings. But sometimes you get that thing in your head that people will see this, and it can get in your way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Inhibit you, yeah. I also wouldn\u2019t miss that feeling you get, when you\u2019re a bit more established, of being nervous, where you do feel self-conscious. It\u2019s nice to get to a place where you have some confidence, like, \u201cOh, they can\u2019t really do anything to me now.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> I actually went through a bit of a wave because breaking into this thing with my first job, I was like, \u201cI like my ideas.\u201d I was a big fan of myself, and I\u2019d go out and that was really the energy [I\u2019d bring]. And then I started to get feedback, and it was like, \u201cOh, maybe I don\u2019t have the best ideas.\u201d That was the first time that I was engaging with that. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> That idea? That possibility? What a reckoning that must have been. (Laughter.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> Right, right, right. But now I\u2019m enjoying the freedom that comes with having been around the block a couple times. I\u2019m like, \u201cNo, I do like my ideas.\u201d My ideas are what make me me.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> I\u2019m reminded of a piece of advice that Marlon Brando is said to have offered. He said that you can\u2019t care or they\u2019ll see it on your face \u2014 but you\u2019ve got to care before you decide to not care. You\u2019ve got to care a lot to take care of your part of the job. But then that not-caring part is like turning out the lights and dancing. It\u2019s critical to be able to retain that freedom that you felt when it didn\u2019t matter so much. Because now all of a sudden, it\u2019s your fault that the movie is not making money, so you\u2019ve got to be a little bit more careful. No. You shouldn\u2019t. You can\u2019t. What was the blessing and the curse of having that success so early? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> Well, I think it dovetails with what these guys were just saying where I was instantly so huge, so fast, and I got very self-conscious and didn\u2019t know how to follow it all up. You hear a lot of bands talking about their first album. Garden State was a success, and they were like, \u201cAll right, good. What\u2019s next?\u201d And I was like, \u201cWhat\u2019s next? I\u2019ve been writing that movie my whole life.\u201d (To Wilson) You must have experience with this, with your films \u2026 <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Yeah, yeah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF <\/strong>I felt like it peaked and I was hosting SNL and all these things were happening, and I didn\u2019t really know how to keep that going or follow it up, and I got in my head about it and was overly precious about it. And once you start getting in your head too much, you really can get in your way. I think I did in some ways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Sometimes it does seem like the old studio system where directors were just thrown in [to the next thing was healthier].<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> And because you\u2019d just get on the horse and go, people were given more opportunities to swing and miss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Exactly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Now, there is so much pressure on every swing. Like Harrison said, it\u2019s your fault if the movie is not making money. And there\u2019s so many eyeballs on everything, and there\u2019s people eating your face every day on TikTok. So, it can be hard to convince yourself that no one is watching because everyone is watching all the time in the most intense way in a business that feels more precious.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Glen, do you feel that? You can sometimes read headlines and think that you\u2019re almost supposed to save the theatrical experience \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> Are you going to save the theatrical experience?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Could you please? <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> Guys, please don\u2019t do this to me. (Laughter.) The thing that I think I\u2019ve started realizing is that it\u2019s very easy in this business to get in your own head or let the noise influence the way you feel about the job. And the thing is, sets are the happiest places on earth for me \u2014 if I\u2019ve done the work ahead of time. I actually did a movie with Owen when I was, like, 15, called The Wendell Baker Story. His brothers [Andrew and Luke] directed, and I played a paperboy. I remember getting the call that I was going to get to be in a movie with all these guys. I mean, Zoolander was also one of my favorite movies of all time. I almost got kicked out of church camp for doing a walk-off onstage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Whoa. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> That\u2019s another story. But after getting it, I remember practicing in our cul-de-sac with my mom, just throwing papers over and over and over, hundreds of rolled up papers, and then the feeling of confidence when you step on set, knowing that you are going to throw a paper better than anyone else. For me, discipline is the key to my happiness. If I feel like I haven\u2019t done the work, then that imposter syndrome, and probably the world at large, starts getting in your head and messes with it. One thing I\u2019m pretty adamant about is making sure that I keep the ability to do whatever I want to do. Because Harrison Ford said I don\u2019t have to. You\u2019re one of the most famous people on earth and you don\u2019t seem to let it affect how you behave.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> It\u2019s a weird thing as actors because we all want to be looked at on some level. I don\u2019t want to wear my baseball cap or these glasses. And you know what happens? Nothing. A couple of people go, \u201cI like that movie.\u201d The world\u2019s a slightly friendlier place. Every now and again, maybe something weird happens. OK. Oscar-nominated Expendables 3. I watched it happen, and I was like, \u201cWow, if you don\u2019t act like it\u2019s a thing, it won\u2019t be a thing.\u201d You figured out how to do it. You\u2019re not going to see me go off the reservation and full method.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Yahya, not too long ago, you defined \u201cfreedom\u201d as being at a place in your career where you don\u2019t have to live in New York or L.A. anymore. Yeah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> More Zoolanders, too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> (To Wilson) By the way, when I was a kid, I was so obsessed with Zoolander, I wrote a treatment for Zoolander 2: The Spawn of Hansel [Wilson\u2019s character], and I was to play your son.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> That\u2019s great.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> I\u2019ve got to dig up that treatment at some point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> You know studios are going to be bidding on this idea tomorrow. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> (To Ahmed) How about The Night Of? Come on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Yeah!<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED <\/strong>It would be interesting to see where those characters went. It was such a formative experience for me as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> That must have changed your life overnight. It was huge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> It was a very different experience because I\u2019d been doing indie films in the U.K. for 10 years. I was so ignorant to what was going on here. Honestly, the only context in which I knew HBO was boxing. So, I got this script saying it\u2019s an HBO show, and I remember thinking, \u201cThose boxing guys are trying to make a TV show? It\u2019s going to suck.\u201d We didn\u2019t have HBO in the U.K. And, yeah, it did feel like things changed. People started yelling at me in the street. \u201cNaz, did you do it?\u201d Every time I go through JFK, \u201cI\u2019m going to let you through, but did you do it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>That\u2019s amazing<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED <\/strong>That was the big shift. And it was during that period that I started scribbling down ideas for this current show, Bait, which is about how the distance between how you\u2019re seen, your public self, and your private self starts to become huge. People think Han Solo doesn\u2019t do his laundry or whatever it is. (To Ford) Well, you might not. Glen does your laundry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD <\/strong>He has people for that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> But I found this massive chasm between my public self and my private self, and that was stressful and confusing but also funny in weird ways. I remember the same week [news broke] that I was in Star Wars [Rogue One], my friends, family, people from high school were all texting me, going, \u201cBro, you\u2019re crushing it,\u201d I got banned for suspected shoplifting at my local supermarket just because I forgot to beep the pizza on the checkout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> Sure, you did.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN <\/strong>So, it really wasn\u2019t suspected \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> Sounds like an open-and-shut case. (Laughter.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019m in Star Wars, I don\u2019t have to pay for pizza.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Here it is. I knew I\u2019d get a grilling from you guys.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Looking back, what was the role you had to fight the hardest for? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> The way that Val Kilmer did with The Doors? He went so into that and convinced Oliver Stone that he could play Jim Morrison. I love examples like that. I wish I had one. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> I play this character in Wonder Man, and he got his big break by sneaking into the audition. He went behind his agent\u2019s computer, found the listing, forced his way onto the sheet and eventually got the job. He was just, like, whatever it takes. Does anybody have any stories like that?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> My Scrubs story was a little like that. The first time I auditioned back in 2000 \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> It was supposed to be for Dax? (Laughter.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> I\u2019m so lucky Dax did not get an audition. No, I auditioned in New York, and it wasn\u2019t good. I hadn\u2019t done the work, and this is back when we were FedEx-ing VHS tapes to L.A. to be seen. Weeks later, they still hadn\u2019t found their guy, and my agent said, \u201cLook, they\u2019re seeing so many people, I don\u2019t think they\u2019re going to keep track. Just go in again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Go in again?!<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> Yeah. I was in L.A. this time, and this is old-school pilot season, where you\u2019re going on five auditions a day, and my agent was like, \u201cIt\u2019s chaos over there.\u201d So, I went in like I had never read for it. This time, I was very prepared, and I knew I crushed it because the casting director was like, \u201cWhat are you doing later today?\u201d Which is the greatest thing you can ever hear. And then rapidly I was sitting with Bill Lawrence, and it was all happening and it\u2019s all because this agent had the audacity to be like, \u201cI think you should just go in again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> That\u2019s crazy, man. But that\u2019s what it\u2019s like. Back when I talked about just loving my ideas, it was like, \u201cYeah, I\u2019m going to do whatever it takes. What do I have to do? Yeah. OK, cool. I\u2019m going to do that.\u201d And man, you just see green lights the whole way. That\u2019s a really beautiful place to be.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Sometimes you got to just bet on yourself when no one else will. I remember when I did Nightcrawler, I\u2019d hit a real ceiling in the UK with these indie projects. When we did the pilot of The Night Of, everyone was like, \u201cIt\u2019s going to get picked up.\u201d We actually did it with James Gandolfini, he played John Turturro\u2019s role in the pilot, and then it didn\u2019t get picked up. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> Woah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> I thought it was going to be my big American break but then I\u2019m back to being unemployed in London. Then Gandolfini passed, and two years later, that show came back together with John. In the interim, I\u2019m just dead broke. And I remember I met the director of Nightcrawler and he was like, \u201cLook, this is a really American role. You\u2019re a classically trained British Shakespeare actor, you\u2019re not right for it.\u201d I was like, \u201cI\u2019m definitely not right for it, but do you mind if I send you tapes? You\u2019re a cool guy, you could give me feedback?\u201d I lured him into this thing of sending him tapes and he was giving me notes and it got me through to the last two or three.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> Wow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Then it\u2019s, \u201cYou got to come to L.A. for a screen test, but we can\u2019t pay, it\u2019s an indie.\u201d It was like a $750 flight and I had, like, 800 pounds in my account. But Idris Elba, who was a friend, was like, \u201cYou should go to America, man. You got to bet on yourself.\u201d I had that in my head, and I went, \u201cScrew it.\u201d I booked the flight and I was just running lines the whole time. Eleven hours. And then I landed, literally taxi straight to the audition, and I booked it. That was not just the confidence of youth, but the desperation of it as well. It can be a real rocket fuel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Harrison, I\u2019ve heard you say that you\u2019re \u201cin danger of the plague of legacy,\u201d but on <\/strong><strong>Shrinking<\/strong><strong>, you\u2019re not a legend. What does that mean and how does it alter your experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Shrinking is an ensemble effort, which I love. It becomes a community, and you have these common experiences and it\u2019s real glue that helps hold the whole thing together. Movies are still a great adventure, and I still love doing that kind of work, but there\u2019s something very different about working on a sustained basis and having an audience have that relationship to a fully fleshed-out character. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> You seem so in your element. Obviously you\u2019re very funny and you\u2019ve been funny in many of your films, but as a director, it\u2019s lovely to see Harrison really lean in to comedy and just love playing. I\u2019d also imagine, in your films, you\u2019re the star, it\u2019s about you. And here, you\u2019re all bouncing off of each other and, just from my perspective, being a fan and a director of the show, you just seem like you\u2019re having so much fun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Shh, don\u2019t tell them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>I believe you all went into Shrinking thinking it would be three seasons\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Ford<\/strong> Two. I thought maybe two.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Did you flirt with signing off after this last season? Your storyline could have tied up in a nice bow at the end \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Ford<\/strong> No, I don\u2019t want a nice bow at the end on it. I mean, I don\u2019t know what I want from it. One of the great pleasures of doing this is I don\u2019t have all the scripts for a season. I don\u2019t have the next episode. And I\u2019m playing a guy with Parkinson\u2019s disease. I don\u2019t know my fate. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen next. Oh shit? No, that\u2019s like life. That\u2019s kinda cool. And because I\u2019m so supported by the writers and I know that they\u2019re going to take care of it, so I can really just enjoy the day-to-day stuff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Shifting gears here. If you look at all of your work and your public appearances that have found their way online, what is your favorite meme of yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> What\u2019s a meme?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> This is my favorite moment to be a part of right here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> How do you describe a meme? It\u2019s kind of like a picture of a moment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> And a script underneath that describes the moment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> It could have movement to it or just a picture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>There are many online with you, Harrison.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> I get it. I get it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> Like, \u201cGet off my plane!\u201d and it\u2019s just that picture [from Air Force One]. I\u2019ve sent that GIF before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> I once went on Conan, and I\u2019d done [the 2013 animated film] Oz the Great and Powerful, and so the gag was that I would take off my clothes and reveal a green-screen onesie. And I just sort of did a couple humps of the air. And as I\u2019m humping the air, Conan just slightly looks away to avoid watching. And that\u2019s my favorite <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IoNoDeZQ70w\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">GIF<\/a> on the internet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>ABDUL-MATEEN<\/strong> I have one. I played Doctor Manhattan in [HBO\u2019s] Watchmen and Doctor Manhattan was blue [in the show]. And I think people were kind of \u2026 it was a conversation that I\u2019m Black because in terms of the canon, Doctor Manhattan was white. So, there are [memes] of me as Doctor Manhattan with a chain and a dashiki and a kufi and, like, red laser eyes. I don\u2019t know what the red laser eyes are really about, but I find the humor in it. It\u2019s like, if we\u2019re going to make him Black, let\u2019s make him blackity-Black. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>If a fan is shouting a line from one of your projects at you, what\u2019s it most likely to be?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>WILSON<\/strong> I get a lot of \u201cKa-chows\u201d from Cars because those kids have now grown up and they realize that it was a human playing Lightning McQueen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> They go back to the beginning for me. (Laughter.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Harrison, can you differentiate between a <\/strong><strong>Shrinking<\/strong><strong> fan versus an Indiana Jones fan versus a <\/strong><strong>Star Wars<\/strong><strong> fan?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> No, and that\u2019s kind of weird because you should be able to spot it coming. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>AHMED<\/strong> Do you not find the Star Wars fans are running around with massive Star Wars posters? Because that\u2019s what I find. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> But those are not fans. Those are autograph sellers 100 percent of the time. You do really appreciate people who are fans. And when people come up to me, I\u2019m not trying to figure out what they\u2019re coming for. I just know that they\u2019re likely to be a customer and I\u2019m in a service occupation. We sell stories. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> Did you always have that perspective?<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Yeah, I think so. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>POWELL<\/strong> I feel like sometimes it\u2019s hard to differentiate when you do have the different segments that are coming up because you want to show up in that way all the time, but I feel like sometimes it\u2019s hard to \u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> We can\u2019t all the time. In fact, I have a quick, funny story about the first time I ever met Harrison Ford. We got in a golf cart, and we\u2019re driving around the Warner Bros. lot, and I was like, \u201cOh my God, my childhood dreams have come true. I\u2019m on the Warner Bros. lot in a golf cart with Harrison Ford.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>FORD<\/strong> Pfft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>BRAFF<\/strong> And one of the trams goes by with all the tourists in it, and Harrison sort of just gently looks the other way.
