\n\tIn 1976, Bryson launched his music career with his album Peabo<\/em>. The following year, he would sign with Capitol Records with the release of Reaching for the Sky<\/em>. Some of his hits include \u201cFeel the Fire,\u201d \u201cReaching for the Sky,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m So into You,\u201d \u201cCrosswinds,\u201d \u201cLet the Feeling Flow,\u201d \u201cIf Ever You\u2019re in My Arms Again,\u201d \u201cShow and Tell,\u201d and \u201cCan You Stop the Rain.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\tIn 1985, Bryson appeared on One Life to Live,<\/em> where he sang a lyrical version of the classic theme song.<\/p>\n\n\tBryson\u2019s two Grammys came for his 1992 performance in \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d with Celine Dion, and for \u201cA Whole New World\u201d from Disney\u2019s\u00a0Aladdin<\/em>\u00a0with Regina Belle in 1993.<\/p>\n\n\tAfter first charting in 1975, Bryson had a pair of smash pop hits with theme songs from back-to-back Disney toons. \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d a duet with Celine Dion, reached the Top 10 in 1991, and \u201cA Whole New World\u201d from Aladdin, sung with Regina Belle, topped the Billboard Hot 100 the following year. He also had a Top 10 pop hit with \u201cIf Ever You\u2019re in My Arms Again\u201d in 1984.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe previous year, Bryson and Roberta Flack recorded the duets LP Born to Love, which spawned \u201cTonight, I Celebrate My Love,\u201d a Top 5 R&B and AC hit that reached the pop Top 20. In all, Bryson had nine R&B Top 10s, including the chart-toppers \u201cShow & Tell\u201d (1989) and \u201cCan You Stop the Rain\u201d (1991).
Bryson recorded 20 solo albums from 1976-2018, including a half-dozen that hit the Top 10 on Billboard\u2019s R&B Albums chart. He had five career gold albums, including three in a row in 1978-79: Reaching for the Sky, Crosswinds and We\u2019re the Best of Friends, a duets disc with Natalie Cole. His LP with Flack also went gold.<\/p>\n
\n\tBryson also teamed with Kenny G for \u201cBy the Time This Night Is Over,\u201d a track on the latter\u2019s 1993 album Breathless that became one of Bryson\u2019s three songs to top Billboard\u2019s Adult Contempory chart.
