Ellie Goulding<\/a> has announced her sixth studio album \u2018I Know Too Much\u2019. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n

The singer is set to release the 10-song record on September 4, following on from 2023\u2019s UK Number One\u00a0\u2018Higher Than Heaven\u2019<\/a>. You can pre-order\/pre-save it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking this album allowed me to bring everything together honestly, like journaling through music, a collection of songs that represent a certain time in my life,\u201d Goulding explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always loved exploring different sounds and tempo. The album came about from the idea that maybe we can know too much, freedom comes from the ease of not knowing\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The pop artist will share the lead single from the forthcoming LP, \u2018Black Prada Dress\u2019, this Friday (June 5). She debuted the song during her slot at BBC Radio 1\u2019s Big Weekend<\/a> in Sunderland last month.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Goulding dropped the empowering single \u2018Destiny\u2019<\/a>, and appeared on the song \u2018Save My Love\u2019 with\u00a0Marshmello<\/a> and Avaion. The full tracklist for \u2018I Know Too Much\u2019 is yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

The singer is expected to showcase new music when she appears on Later\u2026 With Jools Holland<\/i><\/a> this Sunday (June 7).<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME<\/em> late last year about her upcoming fresh material<\/a>, Goulding said: \u201cThis is probably the most honest I\u2019ve been in my lyrics. I don\u2019t have anyone to answer to. In certain situations, you\u2019re trying to please someone, but for the first time ever, I don\u2019t feel like I have to do that. I\u2019m just making music that I love.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really liberating feeling I have at the moment. The songs aren\u2019t too on the nose or mainstream, but they\u2019re also not too unusual. It\u2019s all just really freeing and different.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also told us: \u201cBack before I signed a record deal, I was just writing songs, letting them come out naturally and not thinking too much.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest though, I still really have nothing to lose because I\u2019m always doing projects that indulge me, like classical music, electronic, and dance, plus I still get to write pop songs that are really appealing to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
