(NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 Five police officers were banned from working at royal residences<\/a> after complaints were lodged over alleged misogynistic comments at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s home.<\/p>\n

London Metropolitan Police launched an investigation into the alleged behavior of its Royalty and Specialist Protection officers, according to The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A female staff member at Kensington Palace<\/a> alleged the officers made “inappropriate” comments between August 2023 and September 2024, including that Kate and William’s home was “full of little Hitlers.”<\/p>\n

The staffer also alleged one officer tried to add her as a friend on Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Comments from the officers were perceived as misogynistic though the allegations were tame and none were sexual in nature,” a source told The Sun.<\/p>\n

The officers were allowed to return to their duties, following the department’s investigation into the matter.<\/p>\n

“The reported behavior falls below the high standards expected of officers, particularly those in\u00a0frontline\u00a0protective roles,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told The Sun.<\/p>\n

“As a result of our internal investigation into this matter, the officers received reflective practice to consider their actions and identify learning for the future,” they added.<\/p>\n

The Royal Household decided it didn’t want the officers to return to Kensington Palace and banned them from other royal residencies.<\/p>\n

“A decision was taken that the officers were not wanted back again,” according to the outlet’s source.<\/p>\n
