musical acts late last month<\/a>, the crowd-drawing events for the Food Maxx Arena have been announced. And tickets are on sale.<\/p>\nThe expo is set from July 10-19 at the fairgrounds in Turlock, 900 N. Broadway.<\/p>\n
From booming and banging motor events to bouncing rodeos, the Arena always has been a popular nightly place to be during the fair\u2019s 10-day run.<\/p>\n
The shows come with separate tickets in addition to fair admission. Here\u2019s a look at what\u2019s revving up for the Arena, according to a press release:<\/p>\n
July 10 \u2013Truck & Tractor Pulls 1:<\/b> 5:30 p.m. Deemed \u201cThunder in the Valley,\u201d there will two nights of these pulls. Tickets are $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 11 \u2013 Truck & Tractor Pulls 2:<\/b> The second night of events. 5:30 p.m. $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 12 \u2013 TPA Portuguese Bloodless Bullfights:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. The culture and tradition of Portugal are featured with multiple bulls and teams of forcados, as well as cavalieros on horseback. DJ Brown Sugar will perform. $28.25.<\/p>\n
July 13 \u2013 Destruction Derby 1: Summer Smash:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. There will be three preliminary rounds, a consolidation round and a final champion heat. $20.34 general, $22.60 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 14 \u2013 Destruction Derby 2: Mayhem & Motorhomes:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. The evening consists of three preliminary rounds, a consolidation round and the final champion heat. $20.34 general, $22.60 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 15 \u2013 Monster Madness 1: Arena Thunder:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. Monster trucks and tough trucks including Survivor, Enforcer, Playin\u2019 for Keeps, Wicked Strong and more. $20.34 general, $22.60 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 16 \u2013 Monster Trucks 2: Steel Stampede:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. A second night featuring the above. $20.34 general, $22.60 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 17 \u2013 PRCA Rodeo:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, there will be competitions in bull riding, bronc riding, team roping, women\u2019s barrel racing and breakaway roping. Expect clown acts and more. $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 18 \u2013 Motocross:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. The evening will include male, female and child riders with 50cc to +40 quads, rhinos and dirt bikes. $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved.<\/p>\n
July 19 \u2013 Humpz \u2018N Hornz \u2013 Hispanic Rodeo:<\/b> 6:30 p.m. Planned are dancing horses, escaramuza, bull riding and live banda music. $11.30.<\/p>\n
