Nancy Meyers<\/a><\/strong> is delighting fans with a candid photo of the late Diane Keaton<\/a><\/strong> from filming ‘Something’s Gotta Give.’<\/p>\n “A long time ago\u2026 Me and Diane listening to Jack [Nicholson] <\/strong>while shooting ‘Something\u2019s Gotta Give’ in Paris,” she wrote of the behind-the-scenes image where the actress and the director were sitting next to each other, facing Nicholson.<\/p>\n Keaton, who died of pneumonia<\/a> in October<\/a> of last year, played mom to Amanda Peet<\/strong> and navigated budding, but accidental, romances with Nicholson and Keanu Reeves<\/a><\/strong> in the 2003 film. The actors and Meyers were in Paris since Keaton’s character travels to the city to celebrate her birthday<\/a> there and Nicolson’s and Reeves’ characters show up unexpectedly.<\/p>\n “My favorite movie of all time,” one wrote. “I\u2019ve watched it probably more than 100 times @nmeyers. Thank you for your beautiful films. As the news of her death broke and social media tributes poured in<\/a> for the ‘Annie Hall’ actress, Meyers took to her own Instagram<\/a> with a heartfelt post.<\/p>\n “As a movie lover, I\u2019m with you all – we have lost a giant. A brilliant actress who time and again laid herself bare to tell our stories,” she wrote. “As a woman, I lost a friend of almost 40 years – at times over those years, she felt like a sister<\/a> because we shared so many truly memorable experiences. As a filmmaker, I\u2019ve lost a connection with an actress that one can only dream of.”<\/p>\n Keaton, who was a mom of two, was also remembered this past Mother’s Day when her daughter Dexter shared a heartbreaking message<\/a> on Instagram.<\/p>\n “I miss you more than words can say,” she wrote. “Missing her voice, her hugs, her presence, and everything that made her home.
