The supergroup Drink\u00a0The\u00a0Sea\u00a0have\u00a0announced details of a new album and a US,\u00a0UK\u00a0and European\u00a0tour for\u00a0later this year.<\/p>\n

The band is made up of former\u00a0R.E.M.<\/a>\u00a0guitarist Peter Buck, Barrett Martin of\u00a0Screaming Trees<\/a>\u00a0and Alain Johannes of Eleven and\u00a0Queens\u00a0Of\u00a0The\u00a0Stone Age<\/a>, as well as Duke Garwood and Lisette Garcia.<\/p>\n

They will release their third studio album \u2018Drink The Sea III\u2019 on October 2 via Martin\u2019s Sunyata Records and Sony Orchard Digital Music, and they will share the record\u2019s lead single on July 31.<\/p>\n

The album was\u00a0produced by Martin and Johannes and was\u00a0recorded while the band were on the road between October 2025 and April 2026, making use of studios in Olympia, Washington as well as Chile and Brazil.<\/p>\n

Drink The Sea will play a lengthy tour that kicks off with a US leg in Vashon Island, Washington on August 30. The UK dates begin in Cardiff on September 30\u00a0and also\u00a0include shows in Manchester,\u00a0London\u00a0and Brighton, before a European tour that wraps up in Ravenna, Italy\u00a0on\u00a0October 23.<\/p>\n

The band came together at the end of 2024 and released their first two studio LPs, \u2018Drink\u00a0The\u00a0Sea I\u2019 and \u2018Drink\u00a0The\u00a0Sea II\u2019,\u00a0last year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
