\u201cDaily Show<\/a>\u201d correspondent Michael Kosta<\/a> had to spell out to President Donald Trump<\/a> an apparently obvious point about the war in Iran on Tuesday, after reports indicated<\/a> that the president had a less-than-friendly call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt seems that Trump is starting to suspect that Netanyahu might be deliberately derailing the peace talks just to keep the United States in the war, to which I\u2019d like to say, ding, ding, ding, dumbass,\u201d Kosta said. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n An exasperated Kosta then asked why Trump always seems to be the last person to arrive at an obvious conclusion. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhy are we always watching Donald Trump discover shit that everyone else knew this whole time?\u201d Kosta said. \u201cHe had no idea that peace in the Middle East is hard. He had no idea that the Strait of Hormuz is where oil goes through.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAnd now he\u2019s like, wait a minute, does anyone else think the international war criminal is kind of shady?\u201d Kosta continued, referring to Netanyahu. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Axios<\/a> reported on Monday that Trump and Netanyahu had a particularly contentious chat earlier this week, with the president reportedly calling the Israeli prime minister \u201cfucking crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cYou\u2019d be in prison if it weren\u2019t for me. I\u2019m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now.
