We’re less than one month away from America’s semiquincentennial \u2014 the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Across the nation and in the Ozarks, people are gearing up to celebrate this Fourth of July with flair and style.<\/p>\n Here are the events happening in the Ozarks this summer. We’ll be adding more events as they arise.<\/p>\n If you have a Fourth of July event you’d like to add to this list, email editor@news-leader.com.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: June 26<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: J.R. Martin Park, 300 E. Hines St., Republic<\/p>\n The City of Republic will host its 30th annual celebration of America’s independence starting at 6 p.m. This year’s event will include live music from local bands and conclude with a fireworks display.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: June 27<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Rogersville City Park, 270 County Line Road, Rogersville<\/p>\n Starting at 3 p.m., the City of Rogersville is celebrating Independence Day<\/a> with food trucks, vendors, live music, inflatables and fireworks.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: June 27<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Backwoods Golf, 6155 W. Republic Road, Brookline<\/p>\n From noon to 9 p.m., customers can enjoy discounted bays at Backwoods Golf’s Fireworks Ball & Bash<\/a> Independence Day party. Reservations are required if you’d like to watch the fireworks show from your bay. Grass seating is available as well, with a $5 cover charge for the fireworks show.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 2<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Table Rock Lake near Kimberling City Bridge<\/p>\n Watch a summer tradition from land or by boat starting at dusk with the annual Fireburst fireworks show<\/a>. The event is free, made possible through donations from local businesses, community members and friends of the lake.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 3<\/p>\n Where:<\/strong> Branson Landing fountains, 100 Branson Landing Blvd., Branson<\/p>\n Enjoy a night of local music as well as fireworks with Branson Landing’s free summer concert series<\/a>. Cherry & James will take the stage at 6 p.m., followed by The Rosy Hips at 7 p.m. The evening will finish with Liberty Light Up fireworks.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 3-5<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Various locations in Marshfield<\/p>\n Marshfield is going all out with a three-day celebration. The celebration is not only marking America’s 250th birthday and the 100th anniversary of Route 66, but it is also the city’s 147th July 4 celebration. Throughout the weekend, people can take part in a semiquincentennial dress contest (July 3), a parade (July 4) and a street dance on the square (July 4). For more information, visit the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 4<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Midtown neighborhood in Springfield<\/p>\n Historic Midtown is hosting its annual 4th of July Parade<\/a> starting at 10 a.m. After the parade, there will be an ice cream party at Washington Park.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 4<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Stanford Street and Holland Avenue in Springfield’s University Heights neighborhood<\/p>\n Starting at 10:45 a.m., kids can participate in the University Heights parade<\/a>. Guests are encouraged to deck out themselves and their ride in patriotic pride.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 4<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Top of the Rock, 190 Top of the Rock Road, Ridgedale<\/p>\n The public can enjoy a fireworks show starting at dusk<\/a> from the restaurant and patio areas on Top of the Rock. There is a $10 entry fee to access Top of the Rock amenities and attractions.<\/p>\n When<\/strong>: July 4<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Fassnight & Silver Springs pools in Springfield<\/p>\n Celebrate July 4 with a splash at Fassnight and Silver Springs pools this year<\/a>.
