According to TMZ<\/a>, it appears that Mayor Bass, who has served as the 43rd\u00a0mayor\u00a0of\u00a0Los Angeles\u00a0since 2022, is set to face the 42-year-old Pratt, best known\u00a0as the star of\u00a0The Hills,\u00a0in the upcoming election. The exact number of ballots still to be counted across Los Angeles County remains unclear.<\/p>\n

Pratt, who announced his candidacy in January 2026, said he has five months to make his case to voters. The former reality-TV-star-turned-politician told Fox 11<\/a>, \u201cThis is the first time since 2005 that an incumbent is going to a runoff. This is not a candidate that I\u2019m too concerned about. I\u2019m ready for whatever God puts in front of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

His opponents, including Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilwoman Nithya Raman, have called him a MAGA Republican in campaign ads, according to\u00a0OK! Magazine.<\/a>\u00a0However, President Donald Trump also backed him\u00a0during a recent press conference at the White House on May 20. He said, \u201cI\u2019d like to see him do well.
