For years, it\u2019s been rumored that the\u00a0Real Housewives<\/a> franchise will be coming to Nashville, and Jessie James Decker<\/a> is one of the names that often pops up when it comes to potential cast members. Decker has turned down the opportunity in the past, but tells TV Insider there was recently a moment where she briefly considered it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always no. I always say no, every single time. But most recently, there was a little flicker of, \u2018Oh, maybe if it was fun, not drama, it would be fun to do,’\u201d Decker, who\u2019s partnered with AbbVie for their Love in Mind\u2122 initiative<\/a>, admits. \u201cI do enjoy the entertainment aspect, but these shows never want no drama, so it would never work for me.\u201d<\/p>\n Decker says she recently went to a brand dinner with other Nashville celebrities and influencers where everyone was \u201cjust having a ball, saying the craziest stuff, being so silly,\u201d and the topic of a Nashville\u00a0Housewives came up. \u201cSomeone brought it up, like, \u2018Hey, did you get asked to do that\u00a0Housewives Nashville?\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Yeah, I was called to do that, too.\u2019 We\u2019re all just laughing. Like, how chaotic and fun and entertaining would this be?\u201d she shares. \u201cBut we all said no.\u201d<\/p>\n While there \u201cmight be one or two\u201d girls in the group who would be interested, including Decker\u2019s sister, Sydney Bass, the general consensus is a desire to avoid drama. \u201c[My sister] would totally do it. There\u2019s a couple girls in town that I think would be open,\u201d Decker adds. \u201cI think because it\u2019s such a safe space, it\u2019s like \u2026 do we really want to open that up? Could we really trust a production company to not go there and just keep it fun and entertaining without the drama? None of us have drama, so let\u2019s not create it, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n Whether or not she lets cameras into her life again, Decker and her husband, Eric Decker<\/a>, have found their forever home in Nashville with their four kids. \u201cThere\u2019s no intrusion here,\u201d she explains. \u201cNothing. No one. Everyone respects privacy here, respects family time. It\u2019s great. There\u2019s nowhere else I\u2019d rather be.\u201d<\/p>\n Decker also opens up about her struggle with migraines, which began when she was in middle school, but did not become an official diagnosis until she met Eric,<\/a> and he pushed her to see a doctor for her symptoms. Now, she wants to raise awareness about this condition via AbbVie\u2019s Love in Mind\u2122 initiative, which \u201cseeks to elevate the conversation about the emotional impact of living with migraine, beyond the physical symptoms, with a focus on dating and romantic relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n As the\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/a> alum<\/a> explains, \u201cI have learned how to manage [my migraines] and take care of myself, look for the signs, and look for the signals. Eric has been a huge advocate for me and a huge supporter. He knows when they\u2019re coming on. I think what\u2019s most important about this campaign is that you don\u2019t have to power through all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n She continues, \u201cIf I had a visible injury, maybe [people] would treat it differently, but people, like myself, who suffer from migraine are just like, \u2018I have to power through,\u2019 or, \u2018I have to get whatever I need done and get through it.\u2019 Because no one\u2019s going to be sensitive to what I\u2019m going through. I think I just need to be an advocate for people and be like, \u2018You don\u2019t need to power through.\u2019 Speak up.
