After months of legal developments and a major transition in the band\u2019s storied history, Luis Ayala<\/a><\/strong> has announced that he and his group, Luis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre<\/a><\/strong>, have officially parted ways with Freddie Records<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a statement released this week, Ayala informed fans, promoters, and supporters that he has been released from the legendary record label, emphasizing that the move marks a new beginning rather than a setback for the band.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to personally inform our fans, promoters, and supporters that I have officially been released from Freddie Records,\u201d Ayala stated. \u201cThis decision will not slow us down. If anything, it opens the door to new opportunities and growth for our band.\u201d<\/p>\n Ayala expressed confidence in the future of Luis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre, citing the unwavering support of the group\u2019s loyal fanbase and the growing interest from songwriters eager to contribute to the band\u2019s next chapter.<\/p>\n \u201cIn recent weeks, we\u2019ve had songwriters reach out who are ready to bring new music to Luis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre,\u201d he said. \u201cWe now have collaborations developing with writers from Mexico and others we will be announcing soon.\u201d<\/p>\n The veteran bandleader also highlighted longtime vocalist and songwriter J. On May 18, Luis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre released a public statement confirming that legal disputes involving longtime co-owners Luis Ayala, Rudy Rocha<\/a><\/strong>, and Joe Angel Reynosa<\/a><\/strong> had been resolved earlier this year<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the time, Ayala confirmed he would continue performing under the banner \u201cLuis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre,\u201d while remaining committed to preserving the band\u2019s signature sound.<\/p>\n \u201cI will continue forward as Luis Ayala\u2019s Fiebre,\u201d Ayala said in May. \u201cWe\u2019re focused on the music, the shows, and bringing you the sound you know\u2026 from The Ones You Know.\u201d<\/p>\n Founded in Pasadena, Texas, in 1985, La Fiebre became one of the most influential and successful groups in Tejano music history. The band\u2019s powerful brass-driven sound, energetic live performances, and blend of Tejano, rock, and big band influences helped produce enduring hits such as \u201cBorracho de Besos,\u201d \u201cEl Amor Se Acaba,\u201d and \u201cEres Mi Primer Amor.\u201d<\/p>\n Over nearly four decades, La Fiebre earned Grammy recognition, chart success, and a devoted fan following that continues today.<\/p>\n In recent months, Ayala has reintroduced the band\u2019s legacy under the theme \u201cThe Ones You Know,\u201d describing the current era as a continuation of the group\u2019s musical identity rather than a reunion.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not a reunion\u2014it\u2019s a recalibration,\u201d Ayala previously stated. \u201cAs a band of brothers, we unite.
