\n\tCountry star Alan Jackson<\/a>\u2018s farewell concert, set for June 29 in Nashville, will be filmed for an NBC special, to be titled \u201cAlan Jackson: The Last Show,\u201d with an unspecified air date later in 2026, the network announced Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe special is being directed by Sam Wrench<\/a>, best known for the 2023 feature film \u201cTaylor Swift: The Eras Tour,\u201d the \u201cHannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special\u201d and specials or concert films with Sabrina Carpenter, Laufey, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Andrea Bocelli and Mumford & Sons.<\/p>\n

\n\tNBC\u2019s announcement did not mention any guest stars. But the show taking place later this month is being advertised with a slew of them, and it would seem likely that some will be included in the telecast. The 17 artists billed as participating in Jackson\u2019s farewell gig include Lainey Wilson, George Strait, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Luke Bryan,\u00a0Eric Church,\u00a0Miranda Lambert, Riley Green,\u00a0Little Big Town,\u00a0Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen,\u00a0Jon Pardi,\u00a0Thomas Rhett\u00a0and\u00a0Lee Ann Womack.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt will be one of the first projects from Joan of Arc StudioWorks, the new company formed by former UMG Nashville CEO Cindy Mabe<\/a>, who worked with Jackson in a label capacity. Joan of Arc is producing along with EverWonder Studios.\u00a0Executive producers are Cindy Mabe, Dawn Gates and Harper Grae for Joan of Arc and Mike Antinoro and Raj Kapoor for EverWonder. Jackson, Debbie Doebler and RAC Clark are the other exec producers. EverWonder\u2019s \u00a0Allison Roithinger and Victoria Chamlee are co-executive producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe June 29 concert will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville and is being dubbed \u201cLast Call: One More for the Road \u2014 The Finale.\u201d Tickets are sold out.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the special premieres on NBC some time this year, it will stream the following day on Peacock<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tJackson, now 67, performed his final regular touring show on May 17, 2025, at the conclusion of his \u201cLast Call: One More for the Road Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer had revealed in 2021 that he had been dealing with Charcot-Marie-Tooth\u00a0disease, a degenerative nerve condition, for at least a decade at that time. The condition causes nerve damage, primarily in the extremities, that can interfere with the ability to walk.<\/p>\n

\n\tJackson is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame who was one of country\u2019s biggest superstars in the 1990s and 2000s. As an emblem of country\u2019s traditional wing, he is still one of the genre\u2019s most respected and influential major artists. He won 17 CMA Awards \u2014 including wins for entertainer of the year in 1995, 2002 and 2003 \u2014 and 22 ACM Awards, while reaching No. 1 in Billboard 26 times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
