Rick Ross is determined to satisfy his \u201ccravings of success\u201d in every venture he takes on. <\/p>\n
\nThe 50-year-old rapper has been in the music business for more than 20 years but still delivers one new project after another.<\/p>\n
\nReflecting on how he still has the energy to surprise fans with his different pursuits, Rick told Rolling Stone: \u201cIf you\u2019re somebody who demands a lot from yourself, like me, it\u2019s not normal, you know. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cHow do you continue to burn and feed that flame, and not only meet your requirements of what you ask for yourself, but over-deliver, you know? Are you happy with yourself? Are you satisfying your cravings of success?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOne of his latest ventures is Rick\u2019s third book – Renaissance of a Boss: Notes from a Creative Reawakening, which documents his failed attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and a road trip to Elvis Presley\u2019s Graceland, among other things. <\/p>\n
\nUnlike his first two books – New York Times\u2019 bestsellers – this one was co-authored in real time, by Neil Martinez-Belkin, who also helped pen the first two tomes. <\/p>\n
\nWith Rick adding: \u201cWhat made this book so unique is it was really just a lot of different things that we experienced while he was there with me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s one thing to talk about the past, and this was going on, but this book is a lot of things happening, you know. As you flip the script, flip the pages, you\u2019re right there with us, and Neil is giving you a perspective, you know, from being to my right side or my left side, so this book is most definitely our best work yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe musician was also keen to give Neil free rein on what he wanted to include in his writing. <\/p>\n
\nRick explained: \u201cI don\u2019t really give a f*** what he uses for the book. You\u2019re here with me, if you catch it, you catch it. If it don\u2019t make sense, it don\u2019t make sense.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere in the interview, Rick discussed launching\u00a0Luc Belaire Alcohol Removed Rare Ros\u00e9 – the non-alcoholic version of his beloved Ros\u00e9 wine.<\/p>\n
\nBut when it comes to his drink of choice, he\u2019ll stick to the original – even when he\u2019s working up a sweat in the gym.<\/p>\n
\nHe laughed: \u201cWhen I work out, I smoke with a joint, and I sip Luc Belaire with the alcohol. That\u2019s just me, you know what I mean, I get it. But you need the NA? We got you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
