However, in June 2026, the Princess of Wales visited a cancer center and opened up about how her treatment affected her family.<\/p>\n On Thursday, June 4, Kate visited the Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, where she met with patient Claire Lorente and her family. In a video posted on Instagram by Hello!<\/em>, Kate hugged Clare before she rang the bell to signify the end of her cancer treatment.<\/p>\n More from StyleCaster<\/strong><\/p>\n Kate then turned to Clare\u2019s family, who were visibly emotional, and said, \u201cI know it\u2019s just as hard for families and loved ones. During a May 22 appearance on the U.K. radio show Heart Breakfast<\/em>, William raved about his wife<\/a> and said he was \u201cvery, very proud\u201d of how far she\u2019s come since beating cancer.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s been amazing. She\u2019s a proper pro on early years. Most evenings, I\u2019m fighting to get past in the bedroom, what paperwork she\u2019s got lined up, ready to read.
