Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em><\/a> star Anthony Head<\/strong> died months after his longtime partner, Sarah Fisher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s daughters, Emily<\/strong> and Daisy Head<\/strong>, announced this past January that their mother had died in late 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so sorry to have to share the news that our extraordinary, kind and talented mother, Sarah, passed away recently,\u201d they wrote at the time. \u201cIt is immensely shocking to us all, and came with very little warning.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cNo words could ever express all that she encompassed, or begin to describe the crater her absence has left. We know how profoundly she has impacted the lives of so many, and we couldn\u2019t be more proud of the legacy she is leaving behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fisher was an animal rights activist who worked closely with the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary. She also owned the 90-acre Tilley Farm.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe only wish she\u2019d had more time to share her knowledge and brilliance with us, and the world. Our grief knows no bounds, nor did the reaches of her incredibly unique and irreplaceable spirit,\u201d Emily and Daisy\u2019s statement concluded. \u201cWe know how much she treasured the relationships she had with all of her friends, colleagues and collaborators, many of whom she stayed in contact with here, and we thank you all for being a part of her enriched life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars in 2026. The year started off with Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford\u2019s death at age 46. At the end of the month, comedy acting icon Catherine O\u2019Hara died at age 71. In February, Designing Women\u2019s Camilla Carr died at age 83, Dawson\u2019s Creek [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The sisters released a similar tribute on Friday, June 5, when their dad died at age 72<\/a>. Emily and Daisy confirmed in a lengthy statement that pneumonia complications led to their father\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been, and forever will be, an honor and a privilege to be his daughters, and to have witnessed firsthand the impact both he and his work have had on so many,\u201d they wrote, in part. \u201cWe know how dearly he will be missed by friends, colleagues, and fans of the shows he was in \u2014 he loved his job very much, and he always considered himself incredibly lucky, to have been able to work alongside such exceptionally talented people, in such wonderful productions, across a career that spanned several decades.\u201d<\/p>\n
