The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleborough is seeking a new director of music ministry.<\/p>\n\n

The part-time position will involve leading the church’s 15- to 20-member choir and providing music for services every Sunday from September through June, according to a community announcement. The anticipated start date is Aug. 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

The church has a Mason & Hamlin grand piano, purchased new in 2019; a historic Woodbury & Harris tracker organ, circa 1890; and two digital pianos (Yamaha DGX-670 and Yamaha P-120).<\/p>\n

The Chalice Choir is open to all and sings every other Sunday, with solos and ensembles on alternate Sundays. Many instrumentalists in the congregation perform on guitar, ukulele, flute, recorder, crumhorn, percussion, piano and hammered dulcimer.<\/p>\n\n

The church has been serving the Middleboro area since 1889 and is known for its music program. The congregation is committed to spiritual growth and lifelong learning.<\/p>\n
