Hype is building for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and this morning some huge names have been announced as co-headliners for the halftime show for the final on July 19.\n<\/p>\n

This is the first time the world cup will hold a halftime show and Madonna, Shakira and K-pop group, BTS, will all perform at the New Jersey game.\n<\/p>\n

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is the curator behind the performance and he made the announcement with Sesame Street<\/em>‘s Elmo early this morning.\n<\/p>\n

And Australia is also playing a part in bringing the performance together, with Melbourne man Hugh Evans working behind the scenes with his company Global Citizen to make it all happen.\n<\/p>\n
