Blake Moynes<\/a> <\/b>is getting real about the financial impact of becoming a wildlife conservationist.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spent [everything]. I sold my house, I\u2019ve taken all my investments that I put into it,\u201d Moynes, 35, claimed on the Friday, June 5, episode of the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI put everything into this, and now it\u2019s forced me to be on the road. There\u2019s no way out other than through it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moynes, who appeared on seasons 16 and 17<\/a> of The Bachelorette<\/i>, left Canada to pursue his wildlife conservation passions that subsequently affected his entire life and livelihood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have the same relationships that I used to have with my best friends,\u201d he recalled on Friday\u2019s episode. \u201cI don\u2019t get notified that my best friends are having kids in the next four months, and I\u2019m finding out through the grapevine. It\u2019s almost like, \u2018Out of sight, out of mind.\u2019 I\u2019ve just kind of become that, unfortunately, through not responding to text. I don\u2019t have time<\/a> for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Moynes, he has \u201cno time\u201d for anything outside of his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetween being on the road and the time zone differences while I\u2019m on the computer or in the field, like, there is no time for anything,\u201d he acknowledged. \u201cI neglect everyone and everything because I have no money left other than making it happen through these projects, and so I can\u2019t have pitter-patter and small talk conversations through text, like, I\u2019m literally working. I\u2019m nuts right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moynes founded Save Our Species Alliance (SOSA) in 2023, an organization that facilitates global wildlife missions<\/a> and immersive experiences across Africa, Costa Rica and Alaska.<\/p>\n
