The payoff is the launch of ambitious new shows and it positions Des Moines to bring those titles to the Des Moines Civic Center when they eventually go on national tours.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, DMPA invested in \u201cBuena Vista Social Club,\u201d \u201cOperation Mincemeat,\u201d \u201cThe Outsiders,\u201d \u201cThe Notebook\u201d and \u201cSpamalot,\u201d as well as \u201cCompany,\u201d \u201cGirl from the North Country,\u201d \u201cMoulin Rouge!
