The company reported a consolidated net loss of \u20b9102.4 crore during the quarter under review, compared to a profit of \u20b9188.4 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).<\/p>\n
Zee Entertainment\u2019s operating revenue declined 7% year-on-year (YoY) to \u20b92,024.8 crore in Q4 FY26, as against \u20b92,184.1 crore in the same period of the preceding fiscal year. While its domestic advertising revenue witnessed healthy traction in January and February, it was impacted in March due to the ongoing Middle East crisis.<\/p>\n
Its international business recorded \u20b950.6 crore in advertising revenue, \u20b999.9 crore in subscription revenue, and \u20b96.5 crore in other sales and services in Q4 of FY26.<\/p>\n
At an operational level, it reported an EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) loss of \u20b9268.6 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, compared to a positive EBITDA of \u20b9285.2 crore in the year-ago period.<\/p>\n
Zee Entertainment\u2019s board of directors recommended a dividend of \u20b92 per equity share of \u20b91 each for FY26, subject to the approval of the members of the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM).<\/p>\n
Tie up with FIFA<\/h3>\n
The Punit Goenka-led company this month has tied up with the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to bring 39 global football events to Indian fans.<\/p>\n
Zee Entertainment will bring the biggest football properties like FIFA World Cup 2026 and FIFA World Cup 2030 editions, and the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup in 2027, along with other key FIFA events up to 2034 and docu-series content, for the Indian market.<\/p>\n
The company, in a regulatory filing, had said that in line with its strategic approach to establish a strong presence across high-potential segments and invest in the future, \u2018Z\u2019 has cemented its position as a strong consumer-centric player in the multi-platform sports ecosystem.<\/p>\n
The entertainment company also stated that, in addition to the FIFA World Cup 2026 scheduled to kick off on June 11, 2026, it would also serve as the destination for the tournament\u2019s centenary edition in 2030.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Zee Entertainment shares were ended at \u20b9112.27 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 7.52%.<\/p>\n
Shares of the company have jumped 19% over a month, while they have soared 20% in the past six months. From the beginning of the year, Zee Entertainment shares have climbed over 24%.<\/p>\n
The company has a market capitalization of \u20b910,795.28 crore.<\/p>\n
