Alyson Hannigan<\/a> just broke her silence on the death of her Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em><\/a> co-star, Anthony Head<\/a>.<\/p>\n On Saturday, June 6, the actress who played Willow Rosenberg took to Instagram<\/a> with an emotional tribute to the late actor who portrayed Rupert Giles in the series. Head died at 72<\/a> from \u201ccomplications due to pneumonia\u201d while \u201csurrounded by his family,\u201d his daughters said in a statement to BBC News<\/a>\u00a0on June 5.<\/p>\n \u201cThis cut is so deep I fear it can never heal.<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n ,\u201d Hannigan began her update, which featured an old photo of herself and Head. Oh Tonal\u2026I am so grateful to have had you in my life! I want to say a million wonderful things about you and yet I can\u2019t seem to find the words that would do you justice.\u201d<\/p>\n To conclude her post, the American Pie<\/em><\/a> star shared, \u201cI love you so much and will miss you forever. RIP.\u201d<\/p>\n In the comments, Instagram users flooded Hannigan with condolences. Fellow Buffy<\/em> co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/a>, wrote, \u201cHe loved you so dearly, Aly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so sorry, this one hurts and so close after Nicholas,\u201d another follower shared, referencing Buffy<\/em> star Nicholas Brendon<\/a>\u2018s death in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n Another pointed out, \u201cThe past year and a half in the Buffyverse<\/em>\u2026.
