Three and a half months after Eric Dane<\/a>\u2019s death, his family has at least one reason to celebrate. Georgia Geraldine Dane, one of the late Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/a><\/em> star\u2019s two daughters, just graduated middle school.<\/p>\n Rebecca Gayheart<\/a>, Georgia\u2019s mother and Dane\u2019s widow, shared the news<\/a> on Instagram on Saturday.<\/p>\n \u201cCongratulations, Georgia!\u201d Gayheart wrote, captioning a photo of Georgia receiving a sunflower at the graduation ceremony. \u201cYou have graduated middle school and survived an incredibly difficult year. I am so beyond proud of you \u2014 your tenacity, grit, and grace has been on full display. Welcome to high school \u2014 I have no doubt you\u2019re ready. I am so excited for you! Not pictured is your MVP trophy for beach volleyball. Bravo, congratulations, and I love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n Celebrities were among the commenters cheering Georgia on in the comments. \u201cCongratulations, Georgia!\u201d Dane\u2019s Grey\u2019s<\/em> colleague Ellen Pompeo wrote, \u201cWell done. Your mama\u2019s words are perfect!\u201d<\/p>\n Alyssa Milano<\/a>, with whom Dane starred in Charmed<\/a><\/em> commented, \u201cYour girls are so gorgeous. Like their mama.\u201d<\/p>\n Jessica Collins<\/a>, with whom Gayheart appeared on the daytime drama Loving<\/a><\/em> in the early 1990s, wrote, \u201cCongratulations, GG \u2014 well done! And The Madison<\/a><\/em> actor Kevin Zegers<\/a> added a heart emoji.<\/p>\n Gayheart married Dane in 2004, welcomed daughter Billie with him in 2010, and added Georgia to the family the following year.
