\n\tNearly a year after her divorce from Eric Ben\u00e9t was finalized, the Oscar-winning actress started dating French-Canadian model Aubry after meeting on the set of a Versace photoshoot.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter three years together, Berry welcomed the couple\u2019s only child, daughter Nahla (born March 2008). Just two years later, the couple announced their split.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter their breakup, there was a highly publicized custody battle over Nahla. Berry wanted to move to France with Nahla alongside her partner, French actor Olivier Martinez, while Aubry argued that the move would make their joint custody agreement incredibly difficult. A judge ruled in Aubry\u2019s favor, denying Berry\u2019s request to move Nahla to France. <\/p>\n

\n\tSoon after, an altercation occurred. <\/p>\n

\n\tAubry and Martinez were both treated at a hospital for injuries after engaging in a physical altercation<\/a> at Berry\u2019s residence. Martinez was granted a temporary emergency protective order preventing Aubry from coming within 100 yards of Berry, Martinez, and Nahla. However, Aubry also obtained a temporary restraining order against Martinez, claiming he had threatened to kill him if he didn\u2019t let the family move to France, per the Los Angeles Times<\/a>. (Berry was not part of the physical altercation!)<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was resolved within weeks, and Berry had to pay child support for Aubry.<\/p>\n
