Aya Cash<\/strong> wants to set the record straight when it comes to that rumor about her Giant<\/em> rehearsals.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s debunk this,\u201d Cash, 43, told Us Weekly exclusively while walking the 2026 Tony Awards<\/a> red carpet on Sunday, June 7. \u201cI did the play in London. I had seven days of rehearsal for the play in London, and then I did a whole run.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cash took on the role of Jessie Stone at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London last year. Following her run, the actress went to film the Prime Video series Vought Rising<\/em><\/a>. She returned to her character Jessie Stone on Broadway this past March.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy schedule would only allow me three days to come back to the Broadway show,\u201d she clarified to Us<\/em>. \u201cI only got three days for Broadway, but I did do the play in London. So I just want to be totally clear about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cash joked that she \u201cmissed the [Vought Rising<\/em>] wrap party to do my three days of rehearsal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cash was nominated on Sunday in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play category for her role in Giant. She was up against Betsy Aidem<\/strong> for Liberation<\/em>, Marylouise Burke<\/strong> for The Balusters<\/em>, June Squibb <\/strong>for Marjorie Prime<\/em> and Laurie Metcalf<\/strong>, who won the Tony Award for her role in Arthur Miller\u2019s Death of a Salesman<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Cash is set to reprise her The Boys<\/em><\/a> role as Clara Vought\/Liberty\/Stormfront in the upcoming Vought Rising<\/em> spinoff series, set to premiere next year. While Us<\/em> wanted Cash to share \u201call the spoilers,\u201d she couldn\u2019t reveal too much.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can tell you that this cast is bonkers good. The scripts were incredible, and the action is big, and that feels very exciting,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was a really special experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The prequel series is set in the 1950s, so The Boys<\/em> fans will get to see \u201ca totally new\u201d side of her character.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It was] a little scary to be honest because, obviously, the spinoff when it was first proposed \u2014 which was many, many years ago \u2014 they responded to Stormfront,\u201d Cash explained. \u201cComing in, I was like, she\u2019s got to be played pretty differently, because she\u2019s just Clara at this moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Boys<\/em> fans will see her as \u201ca nice little Nazi wife,\u201d which is not how fans know her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a very different person than who Stormfront ends up being,\u201d she added. \u201cI think it\u2019s fun to see her journey into that.\u201d<\/p>\n
