The Lost Boys <\/em>and Schmigadoon! <\/em>are going into the ceremony with 12 nominations each.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Broadway’s biggest night is here!<\/p>\n The 79th annual Tony Awards<\/a> \u2014 hosted by pop star Pink<\/a> \u2014 is airing live tonight from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, starting at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. Pluto TV hosted a preshow, the second-annual The Tony Awards: Act One<\/em>, with exclusive content, including early awards announcements.<\/p>\n With 30 shows in the running, the 2025-2026 Broadway season resulted in some fierce competition for all of this year’s worthy contenders<\/a>. Heading into the ceremony, the top-nominated musicals are The Lost Boys<\/em><\/a> and Schmigadoon!<\/em><\/a>, which each earned 12 nominations each, while Ragtime<\/em> follows closely behind with 11 nods. Death of a Salesman<\/em><\/a>, Cats: The Jellicle Ball<\/em><\/a>, and The Rocky Horror Show<\/em><\/a> all received nine nominations.<\/p>\n As always, viewers will be treated to some spectacular performances. This year’s show will include performances from the four Best Musical nominees (The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titan\u00edque<\/em>, and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York<\/em>)), as well as the three nominees for Best Revival of a Musical (Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime, <\/em>and The Rocky Horror Show<\/em>).<\/p>\n In addition, there will be several numbers celebrating major anniversaries, including The Book of Mormon<\/em>‘s 15th anniversary, Chicago<\/em>‘s 30th anniversary, and A Chorus Line’<\/em>s 50th anniversary. Plus, Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr.<\/a> will perform \u201cWithout You\u201d from Rent<\/em> during the In Memoriam segment in honor of those the Broadway community has lost this past year, as well as in recognition of the show’s 30th anniversary.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Fans can also expect a performance or two from Pink. Though she’s never been on Broadway, she’s a lifelong theater fan who agreed to host tonight’s ceremony<\/a> after her daughter, Willow, convinced her<\/a> to take on the gig.
