Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/a> didn\u2019t mince her words at Sunday night\u2019s (June 7) Tony Awards<\/a> when she was asked about President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you grew up in New York, you knew he was an a**hole and a liar from day one,\u201d the former View<\/em><\/a> co-host told Variety<\/a> on the Tonys red carpet. \u201cI remember when his planes were repossessed off the runways at LaGuardia. I remember when he was broke. I remember when he would call up places and pretend to be his own publicist.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cHe is a conman. He is a narcissist. And he is a psychopath, if you ask me.\u201d<\/p>\n The outlet also asked O\u2019Donnell how she thinks Trump will be greeted at Madison Square Garden on Monday (June 8), where he\u2019s expected to attend the NBA finals game between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n \u201cWith a lot of boos, and I\u2019m happy to hear it,\u201d she answered.<\/p>\n O\u2019Donnell\u2019s latest comments come after Trump posted about the A League of Their Own<\/em><\/a> actress on Saturday (June 6). In a Truth Social post<\/a>, the president shared an AI-generated image of O\u2019Donnell thinking about Trump while doing various everyday activities. \u201cShe (?) is OBSESSED,\u201d the caption read.<\/p>\n The feud between O\u2019Donnell and Trump has been going on for years. Last year, the Emmy-winning talk show host told the Irish network<\/a> RT\u00c9\u2019s The Late Late Show<\/em> that the president has \u201chad it out\u201d for her for 20 years after she \u201ctold the truth about him on a program called The View<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI mentioned his bankruptcies, and I mentioned all of the sexual assault charges, and I mentioned that he was not, in fact, the businessman that everyone thinks he is because of the show, The Apprentice<\/em>, where they sold a bunch of lies to America for over 10 years, and half of America believed it,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n Following Trump\u2019s return to the White House, O\u2019Donnell moved from the United States to Ireland with her daughter, Dakota. \u201cWhen it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that\u2019s when we will consider coming back,\u201d she told her TikTok followers last year.<\/a><\/p>\n Sunday\u2019s Tony Awards marked O\u2019Donnell\u2019s first public appearance since revealing she underwent a facelift<\/a>. Speaking to E! News<\/a> on the red carpet, she said she opened up about her surgery because she \u201cwanted to be truthful.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll that matters is truth and love,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd so I wanted to be truthful and say all the complicated emotions I had about it. I just felt it was better to be truthful than not, and I didn\u2019t want some tabloid to go, \u2018Gotcha!’\u201d<\/p>\n
