The New York Knicks’ special no-bag policy for Game 3 of the NBA Finals is presenting a challenge for Jordyn Woods<\/a>, who brings a “lucky” bag to each of the team’s games.<\/p>\n Ahead of the Knicks game on Monday, June 8, Madison Square Garden and the United States Secret Service announced<\/a> a no-bag policy for Game 3 and encouraged fans in attendance to “limit personal items to an absolute minimum.” The announcement followed the news that President Donald Trump planned to attend the game at MSG.<\/p>\n The policy has proved inconvenient for Woods, the fianc\u00e9e of Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns<\/a>, who has previously spoken about her superstitious beliefs about her courtside attire.<\/p>\n Jordyn Woods’ ‘lucky’ bag for New York Knicks games. In her Instagram Stories on June 8, hours ahead of the game, Woods shared a post from ABC 7’s Jaysha Patel discussing the new policy’s implications on Woods’ superstitious style.<\/p>\n “President Trump will be attending game 3 of the NBA Finals. There is a strict no bag policy tonight,” the reporter wrote, “But please tell me [Woods] is the exception and she can bring her lucky bag\ud83d\ude2d.”<\/p>\n Woods added in her Story, “Even the news knows how important the bag is \ud83d\ude2d.”<\/p>\n Woods previously opened up about her superstitious fashion<\/a> in an interview with Vogue<\/em><\/a> following Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, during which the Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 109-93.<\/p>\n “Once playoffs start, everything becomes part of the ritual if we keep winning,” Woods told the magazine. “We’re nine wins in, and now I have my lucky Woods by Jordyn bag, my game-day GRWMs on TikTok, and a watch I refuse to take off. At this point, I’m not risking changing anything.”<\/p>\n “I created a sample of the Tux Clutch Mini specifically for the playoffs,” Woods added of her “lucky” bag. “I wore it for Game 1 during one of my TikTok GRWMs, and ever since then we’ve kept winning, so now it’s officially become the lucky bag.”<\/p>\n
