Prime Video dropped the official trailer on Monday for Ride or Die, an action-comedy series starring and executive-produced by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham, with all eight episodes premiering on July 15.<\/p>\n
The show will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios are co-producing the show.<\/p>\n
Ride or Die tells the story of best friends Debbie Claybourne (Spencer) and Judith Burton (Waddingham), who learn that their relationship harbors a deadly secret: Judith is a hitwoman with an international career. When an old enemy from Judith\u2019s past comes back into play, and one of her jobs goes terribly wrong, the duo is forced on a frantic European adventure, chased by the law, assassins, and criminals alike.<\/p>\n
Tessa Coates is the creator and executive producer alongside showrunner Matt Miller and director Peyton Reed. Spencer executive produces for her Orit Entertainment, along with Waddingham; Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Irene Yeung for Double Dream; Brian Clisham; and Stephanie Kluft. The show is produced by Andy and Barbara Muschietti\u2019s Double Dream and Spencer\u2019s Orit Entertainment.<\/p>\n
Supporting stars Ed Skrein as Billy, Calam Lynch as Sam, Savannah Steyn as Queenie, Jamie Parker as David, Jacky Ido as Jacques, Sylvia Hoeks as Ana, and Bill Nighy as The Director round out the cast.<\/p>\n
